Emil - one game? Yamal has five CL goals this season and has already 19 caps for Spain with 4 goals although he is not 18 until July! Where have you been?

    Paul

Presume Emil (08:20) is trolling, or can’t count. Jesse Lingard was aged 20/21 while scoring 6 league goals for Birmingham in the Championship. Lingard didn’t score a top flight goal until two seasons later. Yamal hasn’t had “one game” — he’s consistently dazzled in elite level football for two years now.

One game Emil? Missed the Euros did you?

I remember as a teenager going to see England v Argentina in 1980. If I recall we won 3 - 1. What I do remember well was Maradona's dribbling skills, although he was 19 then. He was incredible as a teenager at Boca Juniors.

People getting very carried away with Lamine Yamal after one game. He's got six goals in the league this season. No better than Jessie Lingard was at that age.

This guy is a different class, he was unplayable at times. His goal was outrageous.

You know, effectively, what he always wants to do – he wants to come inside on his left foot. So you over-compensate and he has got the ability to drag it with his left foot on to his right foot, and he can actually put a decent ball in with his right foot too.

He is just a phenomenal talent and I love watching him. He's a genius and a Ballon d'Or future winner.

"During the game, when I looked at the match from the outside, you see all the details and it is unbelievable how he does it.

“For me the best thing is he keeps going strong. In the big games he keeps showing how good he is. I also think he enjoys the situation.

"I am really happy this talent that comes every 50 years, that he plays for Barcelona."

  17. How Barca & Inter's six-goal thriller unfoldedpublished at 07:42 British Summer Time

    Barcelona 3-3 Inter Milan

    Jess Anderson
    BBC Sport reporter

Barcelona twice came from behind against Inter Milan to snatch a draw in a six-goal first-leg thriller to leave their Champions League semi-final finely poised:

    • Inter stunned the hosts after just 30 seconds when Marcus Thuram turned in Denzel Dumfries' low cross with an audacious backheel flick.
    • Dutch full-back Dumfries doubled the visitors' lead with a stunning acrobatic volley 20 minutes later.
    • Lamine Yamal struck a wonderful 24th-minute reply as he drifted inside and skipped past several defenders before unleashing a sumptuous left-foot finish that curled in off the far post.
    • Ferran Torres capped off an enthralling first half with a 38th-minute equaliser for the hosts, stabbing home from close range after Raphinha headed down Pedri's crossfield ball.
    • The impressive Dumfries scored his second of the night in the 63rd minute to restore Inter's lead when he rose highest to meet Hakan Calhanoglu's corner.
    • Barca again responded in style and levelled just two minutes later when a stunning 25-yard strike from Raphinha clattered the bar, bounced down and into the net, via a touch off Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer's back.
