Spartans picked up an important three points on the road against Dundee United with a narrow 2-1 victory.
Hannah Jordan scored a goal in each half to put the Edinburgh side two in front.
But Morgan Steedman pulled one back for United just over 10 minutes after the visitors made it 2-0.
United remain rooted to the bottom of the table and are still searching for their first win of the season.
