  1. 'What a fabulous goal from the young man'published at 21:32 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Tottenham 1-0 Elfsborg

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

What a fabulous goal from the young man Dane Scarlett. He came on as a sub a few minutes ago and hasn't had many touches of the ball. He has made a few good runs and got into some good positions.

It is a quality ball from Dejan Kulusevski and Scarlett finishes it with aplomb. A great header.

Credit where credit is due, that was a well worked and well taken Man Utd goal.

  3. Postpublished at 21:32 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Tottenham 1-0 Elfsborg

Dane Scarlett was only recalled from his loan spell at Oxford United a couple of weeks ago and here he is scoring in the Europa League.

That goal moves Spurs up to fifth in the table and makes certain Tottenham progress to the last-16. If it stays like this, of course.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    FCSB 0-2 Man Utd

Leny Yoro and Casemiro replace Christian Eriksen and Lisandor Martinez for Manchester United.

  5. Postpublished at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Rangers 2-0 Union Saint-Gilloise

That Tottenham goal looks like it may mean Rangers are destined for the play-offs.

  6. 'Man Utd have been excellent'published at 21:30 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    FCSB 0-2 Man Utd

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Alejandro Garnacho provided it for Kobbie Mainoo.

FCSB lose possession and Mainoo starts the move off on the edge of the box.

Garnacho doesn't blast it across, he picks out Mainoo.

It's a lead that they deserve - they have been excellent.

Hoffenheim, who trailed 1-0 at Anderlecht earlier, have scored three goals in 11 minutes to lead 4-1.

The Belgian side had needed to win to guarantee their place in the top eight and have now slipped down to 11th.

A goal from France midfielder Corentin Tolisso has put Lyon in charge of their match against Ludogorets.

    Dane Scarlett (70 mins)

Well it's a substitution Ange Postecoglou probably didn't plan to make but what a moment for the 20-year-old Dane Scarlett!

Brilliant ball from Dejan Kulusevski, curled into the middle of the six-yard box and Scarlett heads into the bottom corner.

    Great ball, great finish.

  9. goal

GOAL - FCSB 0-2 Man Utdpublished at 21:28 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Kobbie Mainoo (68 mins)

That should be enough to see United through to the last 16.

Kobbie Mainoo, who set up the first goal, sidefoots past the keeper from Alejandro Garnacho's cutback.

Unless United concede three goals they'll be skipping the play-off round.

Just as Micky van de Ven returns, Radu Dragusin is injured.

The Romanian centre-back replaced Van de Ven at half-time, but lasted only 17 minutes after stretching to kick the ball, and seemingly twisted his knee.

He tried to play on in North London but lasted no more than 20 seconds.

It's a case of one in, one out, as Spurs fail to make progress bringing players back from the Premier League's worst injury crisis.

Incidentally, Spurs had no defenders left on the bench and brought on academy striker Dane Scarlett instead.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:26 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    FCSB 0-1 Man Utd

FCSB roll the dice as forward Alexandru Baluta replaces defender Valentin Cretu.

  12. Postpublished at 21:26 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Elfsborg

Dane Scarlett picks the ball up on the right of the 18-yard-box and lifts it up and over his shoulder into the path of Dejan Kulusevski but again the final product isn't there for the home side.

  13. Postpublished at 21:26 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

As things stand, Manchester United are the only unbeaten team in this season's Europa League.

    Incredible strike.

Matthijs de Ligt backs off and Daniel Birligea hits it from 30 yards.

Very positive performance from United tonight. Controlled the first half and have shifted up a gear this half.

  17. 'Dragusin injury not good at all'published at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Elfsborg

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

Looking at the Radu Dragusin injury again, when he plants his foot down on the floor the weight goes through the knee and he grabs it quickly - that is concerning. Ok he has not been stretchered off, he is walking, but it is not at all good.

  18. Porto on course to avoid embarrassing exitpublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

Nico Gonzalez reactsImage source, Getty Images

Nice, another club with strong ties to Ineos (like Manchester United) are currently trailing 1-0 to Bodo/Glimt.

The French side have managed just two points from their opening seven matches so were already out anyway although their Norwegian opponents are now up to sixth and are looking good for a spot in the last 16.

Ajax are now 2-0 up against Galatasaray and Nico Gonzalez's goal against Maccabi Tel Aviv could potentially ensure that Porto avoid an embarrassing exit from the competition.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    FCSB 0-1 Man Utd

FCSB should be level. Oh my word. Daniel Birligea rifles in a thunderbolt of a shot from 25 yards out which crashes off the crossbar and bounces over the wrong side of the line (for him). Florin Tanase heads the rebund wide from close range - a sitter really - although he was offside. The original shot would have stood though.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:24 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Elfsborg

Off goes Radu Dragusin. On comes young forward Dane Scarlett.

There'll be a bit of a shake up in formation here.
