    Tottenham 0-0 Elfsborg

Son Heung-Min recorded three shots - with one on target - and five crosses in the first half. More than any other player on the pitch. He was a real threat down that left-hand side. But he's been replaced.

    Resting legs?

Let's not dress it up. That's was boring and toothless. If I had a pound for every time United pass backwards I could retire to Monaco.

I really hope Dr.Tottenham doesn’t cure the Elfsborg xG of 0.01. Nervously waiting for us to have 89 minutes of the game and give away the winner in the 90th minute….

Surely Levy can see the squad needs urgent strengthening, our first team would be 3 up by now !!

Those 45 mins sum up what a big task Amorim has on his hands, United in complete control but never look like scoring a goal. This season feels like a write off, how many ins and outs to make this United squad look like a team?

Toothless, aimless, pointless (metaphorically) from both English clubs tonight.

    Man Utd have dominated.

They look a lot more comfortable in the formation and that's in the personel.

One of the key components is Bruno Fernandes in that deeper position.

  13. 'Spaces in the wide areas for Tottenham'published at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January

    HT: Tottenham 0-0 Elfsborg

    Peter Crouch
Former Tottenham striker on TNT Sports

It is so difficult for Tottenham because Elfsborg have so many players behind the ball.

There are spaces in the wide areas. Mikey Moore ran at his full back in the opening minutes and you thought it was only a matter of time before they found the opener.

Son Heung-min has been absolutely destroying his full back on this left hand side too. They just need to keep getting the ball to him.

Feels very much like a case of after the Lord Mayor's Show this evening.

Nine of the 18 games are goalless at the break and that figure would have been 10 had Iceland forward Orri Oskarsson not notched just before the interval to put Real Sociedad ahead against PAOK.

Performance of the night so far has to be from Robbie Keane's Ferencvaros side who are 3-0 up against AZ Alkmaar.

Ilias Charalampous will he happy going into the dressing room.

I can see FCSB going back to a familiar system that they play.

I'm not saying they will do it straight away, but at some stage you will see FCSB putting Man Utd under pressure.

Malacia is a liability, shot of any confidence and seems to be very uncomfortable with the way Amorim is asking him to play. Surely he will be hooked at half time?

    Man Utd dominated possession.

It was strange when I saw how FCSB had lined-up. They're playing in a system that they've not played all season.

There wasn't the real punch going forward to open FCSB up.

I think you will see a different FCSB in the second half.

That is that for the first half. Rangers lead but they'll be needing a play-off to advance to the last 16 as things stand.

What a chance that is for Mohammed Fuseini! He makes a dangerous run to the front post and makes contact with the low cross into the box he puts it the wrong side of the post. Don't think he's got his shooting boots on tonight.
