Enzio Boldewijn's late goal earned Wealdstone a deserved point in a 1-1 draw at home to Hartlepool in the National League.

The visitors opened the scoring after 21 minutes when David Ferguson's cross was prodded home by Gary Madine for his sixth goal in as many games.

Ferguson hit the outside of a post five minutes later and Emmanuel Dieseruvwe fired over from a tight angle in the 36th minute as Pools looked for a second.

Wealdstone substitute Adrian Mariappa forced goalkeeper Adam Smith into a point-blank save and Hartlepool defender Dan Dodds cleared a Kallum Cesay effort off the line at the start of the second half.

Sam Ashford had a goal ruled out for offside and Micah Obiero had a shot well saved by Smith as the home side kept up the pressure, and it eventually told with four minutes remaining when Boldewijn drilled home from distance.
