Everton have started this game well. Yes, lots of possession from Man City but Everton have looked dangerous with Snoeijs and Toni Payne breaking forwards.

They have made it really difficult for City to play their game.

Man City won't panic here, there's plenty of time left to go, but like Chelsea yesterday they have looked somewhat devoid of ideas.

79.5% possession so far but it's Everton with 20.5% who have looked far, far more threatening.

Everton come forward again with Melissa Lawley.

She tries to drive the ball into the box for a teammate but it's stopped by a great sliding block from Laia Aleixandri.

Lucy Hope just on the back shoulder of Alanna Kennedy. They're looking for offside, she's not, it's Justine Vanhaevermaet who is offside. Hope just pulls on the back shoulder of Kennedy, not good enough from Kennedy in my opinion.

They have been excellent so far and that goal is well deserved.

Fantastic play from Toni Payne there. Does Kennedy for speed but then does Aleixandri for speed and power.

It's just that decision-making that has let her down.

Toni Payne is proving a great outlet for Everton.

She does well to gather another defensive clearance before playing the ball out to Melissa Lawley to have a run down the wing.

It looks promising but Leila Ouahabi gets back to halt the counter.

Toni Payne picks up the ball in her own box and charges from one end of the pitch to the other.

She gets her head up and tries to pick out a teammate but can't execute the pass and the break fizzles out.
