    Lyall Cameron

    It's three now. Wow.

A ball is rolled across the box and Lyall Cameron is in acres to take a touch and smash into the back of the net.

    Easy peasy.

  10. HALF-TIME Motherwell 2-0 Aberdeenpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    And breathe...

After a rather stop-start opening half-hour or so the game was given a shot in the arm as Ewan Wilson's thumping finish put the hosts ahead.

Aberdeen were then reduced to 10 men when Slobodan Rubezic was shown a straight red card and Tawanda Maswanhise piled more misery on the Dons just a minute or so later with a smart finish to double his side's lead.

Both sides are in need of a win, it looks unlikely Aberdeen will stop the slide anytime soon, though.

    Motherwell 2-0 Aberdeen

Little bit of Scottish FA guidance on that Aberdeen red card...

Slobodan Rubezic twice moved his head toward Tony Watt, in a way that was deemed more than negligible. Hence he was sent off for violent conduct.

  12. Postpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Ross County

Another chance for Ross County but when the moment comes for the final ball to be pulled back to an unmarked Jack Grieves in the box, the pass is too far in front of him.

  13. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

It's tough trying to keep up with the action today. Goals, a red card and now the woodwork being given a workout...

  14. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Dundee United 0-0 Hearts

Liam Boyce's cross rattles the frame of the goal! It would have been lucky, but Hearts go close to the opener.

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Ross County

    Gully Singh

Josh Nisbet with the best chance of the game as Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes had his hands on the back of his head perhaps expecting County to take the lead.

Robby McCrorie saves the day as it remain goalless here.

  16. goal

GOAL Motherwell 2-0 Aberdeenpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Tawanda Maswanhise

And it just gets worse for Aberdeen. A simple yet effective goal.

Liam Gordon lobs a routine ball over the top and Tawanda Maswanhise controls it superbly before angling his attempt past Ross Doohan from the edge of the six-yard box.

  17. RED CARD Slobodan Rubezicpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Motherwell 1-0 Aberdeen

A straight red for Slobodan Rubezic for his reaction in the aftermath of a confrontation with Tony Watt.

The Dons defender falls under a challenge from the 'Well striker, and the latter leans over to tell him what he thinks of the Aberdeen man.

Rubezic jumps up and appears to move his head towards Watt.

VAR checked the decision and upheld the referee's decision.

    Celtic 0-0 St Mirren

    Andy Burke
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

Stephen Robinson will be pleased at the way St Mirren managed to ride out that period of pressure at the start of the match.

Celtic found their rhythm and tempo early and the visitors had to withstand several dangerous balls into their box.

They dealt with that well, but a long way to go.

No offside. Dundee are two up at McDiarmid Park.

  20. Postpublished at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Ross County

Ross County's first chance of the game falls to Joshua Nisbet.

Corrie Ndaba takes a fresh air swipe with the ball falling to Nisbet on the edge of the box. He dummies and moves on to his left, but puts his shot straight at the keeper.

    Should do better.
