Ten games produced 24 goals on Saturday as we warm-up for what looks to be an exciting second half to the season at both ends of the Championship table.

We were scheduled to have four League Two matches today, but unfortunately the wintry weather that is present in the UK at the moment has resulted in three of those games being called off.

Chesterfield v Gillingham and Fleetwood v AFC Wimbledon were both postponed on Sunday morning, while Newport v Morecambe was called off following an inspection at 12:00 GMT.

It's wet, it's cold and in some parts of the country the morning has been spent building snowmen but we're good to go in the north east where it's a bit damp but otherwise fine.

Sunderland and Portsmouth have watched their respective rivals at the top and bottom of the Championship get their work done on Saturday and know they need to keep pace to achieve their respective targets.
