Ross County 1-1 Dundee

The visitors have been forced into an early change. Antonio Portales is down and after some medical attention, deemed unfit to continue. Aaron Donnelly is his replacement.

County moving the ball well after pegging Dundee back.

George Harmon breaks down the right and swerves in a superb ball to the back post, where opposite wing-back Akil Wright is steaming after it.

The cross just evades Wright, and bounces harmlessly clear.

Brad Lyons shoots from distance but his effort is pushed behind by Dimitar Mitov. Nothing comes from the resulting corner.

Nicolas Raskin sends Cyriel Dessers in behind with a sumptuous lofted pass, though Zach Hemming is out quick to smother the striker's shot at the near post.

The flag goes up but the Nigerian forward is well onside. It would have counted had it gone in.

With the exception of that Jack Butland distribution error earlier, Rangers have impressed and look dangerous when they surge forward.

Decent start to this one.

No chances to report yet but it's being played at 100mph. Both sides looking to play the ball forward early with purpose.

Ross County have responded well to falling behind. Noah Chilvers has been lively in possession, and his smart run and pass tees up captain Connor Randall on the edge of the box.

Randall blasts one low, which is tipped round the corner by Jon McCracken.

Vaclav Cerny gets off Rangers' first shot of the afternoon after cutting inside onto his left foot.

His low, stinging strike is parried out by Zach Hemming and hooked cleared at the first attempt by the Buddies defence.

The new Motherwell manager isn't a dugout tracksuit kinda guy, or at least not today anyway. He's dressed casually in jeans and a black ski style jacket, and already he's been fairly vocal from the sidelines and gesturing to his players.

Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin told BBC Scotland: "It's a difficult time to play a team under new management. We've done a bit of research on the new manager and look at how his teams in the past have played.

"We're expecting a lot of energy, an aggressive high press at the top of the pitch. We've got to be prepared for every eventually.

"The fact of the matter is Motherwell have beaten us three times this year. It's the same group of players, we know the qualities they've got and we've got to make sure we defend better."

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin told BBC Sportsound: "We have good competition in all positions, not only the goalkeepers. Dimitar (Mitov) has had a great run in training now so he plays today.

"The signs are there that we are a more stable team now. We want to keep that consistency.

"We have a strong belief in what we're doing. We've been through a really difficult part of the season but the hunger and ambition has always been there.

"It's a different energy but when there's tough times we must keep looking forward.

"Kilmarnock are strong in the second ball, crossing and set-play game. They play on their strengths so we have match them in those areas."

Dundee manager Tony Docherty told BBC Radio Scotland: "It was a strong performance against Aberdeen but it is all about the result.

"I'm a huge believer in consistency of performance and if we put in a similar level, being a bit more clinical in one box and more frugal in the other, that will give us a better opportunity of winning the game.

"We can go above Ross County and that's a huge motivation. It's also a huge motivation we haven't beaten them this year."
