  1. Wind assisted?published at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Barrow 0-1 AFC Wimbledon

    Adam Lanigan
BBC Sport at SO Legal Stadium

One thing that was noticeable as soon as I emerged from Barrow's train station earlier was how windy it is.

The ground is very open to the elements with a reservoir behind one of the stands making it very blustery, never good conditions for football.

Barrow seem to be playing down wind and there's a chance to Niall Canavan's back header - from only 12 yards or so, just held up in the wind.

Possibly a factor, but as any recreational player would say, 'Play the conditions!'

  2. Postpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Morecambe 0-0 Port Vale

Looking for a first home league win of the season, Morecambe are giving the leaders a bit of a wake-up call as Callum Jones and Ben Tollitt both send efforts off target.

    Vale have been warned...

  3. Postpublished at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Cambridge 0-0 Barnsley

Barnsley have responded well to the early setback.

Neat play sees Keillor-Dunn flick the ball into Jon Russell who digs out a first-time shot.

But the Cambridge goalkeeper Jack Stevens is equal to it.

  4. Postpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Stockport 0-0 Wrexham

Cautions for Stockport's Fraser Horsfall and Macauley Southam-Hales set the tone for the early stages of this one with neither side allowing any time on the ball at all.

They know each other very well from the National League, League Two and now League One - two clubs with big ambitions.

  5. League Two latestpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Drama at Stadium MK.

Luke Young smashed in from 25 yards after being picked out by a free-kick in the final third for his third Cheltenham goal of the season, and a candidate for goal of the weekend.

Scott Hogan thought he had levelled for MK Dons straight from the kick-off but the offside went up just as the striker began to celebrate.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORK (AGAIN)published at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Bristol Rovers 0-0 Crawley

How are the Pirates not in front?

The same combination combines once more as Bryant Bilongo finds Luke McCormick.

But Crawley goalkeeper Connal Trueman this time does superbly to tip his glancing header on to the bar.

  7. Postpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Crewe 0-0 Notts County

Crewe's Max Sanders intercepts a ball out from the Notts County goalkeeper Alex Bass but the 'keeper recovers to make the save.

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Bristol Rovers 0-0 Crawley

The home side have made a fast start and go close again to the opener.

Bryant Bilongo races away down the left and sends a cross over to Luke McCormick who flicks his header agonisingly wide of the post.

    It's coming.

  9. Postpublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Morecambe 0-0 Port Vale

Port Vale, with the best away record in League Two, have a first sight of goal and Ethan Chislett strikes an effort over the bar.

Chislett is one of two changes made by Darren Moore today with Ruari Paton also included at the expense of Rico Richards and Jesse Debrah.

  10. 'Not about Vale's quality'published at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Morecambe 0-0 Port Vale

    Adam Yates
Former Vale defender on BBC Radio Stoke

It's not about the quality of Port Vale, it's how.

The key today will be how quickly they can transfer the ball from one side to the other.

The quicker they can transfer the ball high up to the forwards, that's where they are going to cause problems.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Stockport 0-0 Wrexham

This is feisty - Fraser Horsfall picks-up Stockport's second yellow card of the first six minutes...

It's all about muscle as Dan Nlundulu receives the ball and holds off challenges and shoots goalwards.

It's not the cleanest strike but it takes a deflection which wrongfoots the Tykes' keeper.

    Great start for the hosts.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Crewe 0-0 Notts County

Notts County's Jacob Bedeau collects the game's first yellow card as he takes Crewe's Ryan Cooney out of the game - it's a difficult decision for our match referee Steven Copeland - Bedeau will need to watch his step now.

  14. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Bristol Rovers 0-0 Crawley

Rovers go close early on as a corner drops to Isaac Hutchinson who cracks an effort off the underside of the bar.

    So so close.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:04 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Stockport 0-0 Wrexham

Macauley Southam-Hales is penalised for a foul and referee Thomas Kirk waves the yellow card at the Stockport man - not ideal with 88 minutes still to go!

  16. Postpublished at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Stockport 0-0 Wrexham

An early scare for Stockport but Jon Dadi Bodvarsson can't turn his effort on target for Wrexham.

The Icelandic forward is making his first league start for the Welsh side.

  17. goal

GOAL: Barrow 0-1 AFC Wimbledonpublished at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Joe Pigott (2 mins)

The first goal of the 3pm kick-offs arrives in Cumbria!

A perfect start for the visitors, but a nightmare for experienced Barrow pair Niall Canavan and goalkeeper Paul Farman.

James Tilley tries a shot from outside the area which Farman shovels back into the middle.

Canavan decides to head it back to his keeper but it's short of pace and Joe Pigott has a gift to knock it past Farman from six yards.

Barrow boss Stephen Clemence celebratingImage source, Getty Images

Swindon Town will be hoping to come away with all three points after a four league match winless steak as they visit Accrington Stanley while Harrogate Town will be hoping to stop theirs against Chesterfield.

Barrow boss Stephen Clemenceis back on the touchline but has been lamenting his sides' lost leads and will hope not to witness another as they host AFC Wimbledon.

Meanwhile Carlisle United head coach Mike Williamson wants to keep the wins coming and out of the bottom two as they take a trip to 19th place Bromley.

Similarly Colchester United will want to capitalise on visitors Bradford City's loss of form - the Bantams have lost their past two league games and are winless in three - to try and climb away from the drop zone.

Salford City midfielder Kelly N'Mai is feeling confident and will be looking to cause all sorts of danger as they head to 4th place Doncaster Rovers.

MK Dons boss Scott Lindsey will be hoping the stats look good from the stands following his touchline ban as Cheltenham come to town while Newport County's Shane McLoughlin is looking to make an appearance in their game against Grimsby Town as he returns from a worrying injury.

  20. If, if, ifpublished at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Barrow v Wimbledon (15:00 GMT)

Rudyard Kipling's famous poem was not written about footballing fortunes, but supporters of both these clubs would cling to it in assessing their fortunes this season.

Barrow have let slip a lead in injury time in their last three league games.

If they had won one of those, they would be in the play-off spots, if they had hung on in all three, they would be in the automatic spots.

Wimbledon have won more than they have lost, but their problem was the sink hole at the Cherry Red Records Stadium cost them two home games and an international break another.

They are three games adrift of most sides. But IF - that word again - they won all three, they would be in the play-offs!
