    Exeter v Lincoln (12:30 GMT)

Gary Caldwell makes two changes to the Exeter side which beat Charlton last Saturday.

Australian midfielder Caleb Watts and defender Vincent Harper come into the defence for the Grecians.

Lincoln also make two changes from the starting XI which drew with Bristol Rovers last weekend, with Bailey Cadamarteri returning to the forward line and Jack Moylan bolstering midfield.

Exeter: Whitworth, Watts, Sweeney, Crama, Purrington, Harper, McMillan, Woods, Francis, Aitchison, Alli.

Subs: MacDonald, Fitzwater, Mitchell, J. Richards, A. Richards, Cox, Bird.

Lincoln: Wickens, Darikwa, Montsma, Cadamarteri, Hamilton, McGrandles, O'Connor, Jefferies, House, Roughan, Moylan.

Subs: Pardington, Erhahon, McKiernan, Duffy, Makama, Street, Okoro.

  5. Early start for in-form Impspublished at 12:20 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Exeter v Lincoln (12:30 GMT)

A combination of a four-and-a-half hour trip and a lunchtime kick-off would have forced Lincoln fans from their beds at an unappetising hour this morning.

A win by two goals at St James Park will send up to the giddy heights of fourth, above Barnsley on goal difference - for a few hours at least.

It will also take them within four points of leaders Wycombe and a couple behind Birmingham, with neither of the top two in action due to international call-ups.

Michael Skubala's side are in good shape and head into the match unbeaten in five in all comps and fresh from a midweek 5-0 thumping of Manchester City's under-21 side.

Exeter, meanwhile, sit six places below the Imps, but are just three points back in a congested top half so victory for the hosts would propel them to giddy heights before the 3pm kick-offs.

The Grecians are also in good shape, with four wins from their last six League One outings and have lost just once in their last 10 home matches with the Lincolnshire side.

So will Lincoln supporters' sleep sacrifice pay off?

  6. How it looks at the top of League Onepublished at 12:17 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

Exeter City v Lincoln City (12:30 GMT)

The top ten places in League One

A win for Lincoln today would realistically lift them up one place to fourth ahead of today's other games.

Exeter are just outside the frame in eleventh place but a victory could take them as high as fourth so there is quite a lot at stake.
