Here's how we're looking in the middle of the WSL after that win for Brighton over Tottenham.

Will Brighton finish as the best of the rest?

Tottenham failed to attempt a shot on target in this game, it's the first time they failed to attempt a shot on target in a game in the WSL since facing Leicester on 19 January 2025.

Tottenham have lost their last four games in the WSL, their last longer losing streak was from 20 November 2022 to 12 March 2023, a run of nine games.

And that is that. It was far from a thriller but Brighton will not care one bit! They end their winless run and move up to fifth.

For Tottenham, it's a fourth loss on the spin.

Brighton opt to keep the ball in the corner but Drew Spence does well to win the ball back for her side. Here come Tottenham with less than a minute left.

Perfect situation for Brighton right now as they win a corner. The clock ticks on...

Michelle Agyemang looks to slip in Nikita Parris but the pass is just slightly overhit and Lize Kop does well to rush from her goal and collect the ball.

Ella Morris gets forward for Tottenham from right-back but she hammers her effort high and wide.

She's probably been Spurs' best attacking player this afternoon.

We're going to have four minutes added on at the end of this game as Tottenham go in search of a late equaliser.

Madison Haley is down after a heavy collision in her back. The Brighton winger is up and OK to carry now though.

We're into the final five minutes and I can't imagine much injury time being added on.

The on-loan Arsenal striker is then shown a yellow card for a bit of time-wasting.

Nikita Parris is shown a yellow card and she's really not happy about it. She's complaining to the referee but steps away before she gets in further trouble.

We're into the final 10 minutes and Brighton look pretty comfortable holding on to these three points.

Can Tottenham do anything to change that?

The free-kick is played short by Maria Olislagers to create an angel for a cross. She puts in a beauty but Michelle Agyemang can't quite get there to tap home.
