We've got six minutes of added time to play at the end of this first half.

Ella Morris is tough as old boots, by the way. She's back on the pitch with tissue stuffed up her nose and is continuing to battle away at left-back.

Crystal Palace are absolutely cramming defenders into their box at they look to preserve the three points. There's just no way through for Villa.

  8. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 0-1 Brightonpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Fran Kirby (42 mins)

    Breakthrough!

Just as I was about to type how Nikita Parris wasted an opportunity for taking too long on the ball, Fran Kirby is given the ball in the box and she finishes beautifully across Lize Kop and into the far corner.

    A well-deserved lead.

  9. Postpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Aston Villa

That's a poor ball. Aston Villa had three or four players surging into the box but the cross which comes in from the left isn't even in the same postcode.

Sometimes it just isn't your day.

  10. Postpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Tottenham 0-0 Brighton

Maria Olislagers is causing Tottenham all sorts of bother with these inswinging corners! After a bit of head tennis, Tottenham clear the danger before Lize Kop rushes from her goal to collect the ball.

  13. Postpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Aston Villa

Oh it's all getting a bit frantic in the Crystal Palace box. I think that's defender Anna Patten who finds herself racing through on goal after staying up following the free-kick.

You suspect the drama is far from over.

How the momentum has changed in this one!

Marisa Olislagers tries her luck from distance but Lize Kop palms it wide for a corner.

  15. CLOSE!published at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

What an intervention from Lily Woodham!

Shae Yanez completely misjudges the free-kick and is indebted to Woodham who clears the ball off the line. Villa think the ball has crossed the line but the referee is not interested.

    Phew.

  16. Postpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Aston Villa

Another Aston Villa corner... but it's a shocking delivery. It's far too deep and despite Missy Bo Kearns running hard to recover the ball, nothing comes from it.

Aston Villa have, however, won a free-kick...

  17. Postpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

Lize Kop deals with that corner so well!

The left-footed inswinger from Marisa Olislagers is aimed right under Kop's crossbar but the Tottenham goalkeeper claws it clear.

  18. Postpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Tottenham 0-0 Brighton

We've had an attempt from Brighton!

Drew Spence slips at a vital moment and Fran Kirby lets fly but she fails to direct her effort on target.

We've now got the first corner for the Seagulls.

My Cato and Ashleigh Weerden combine nicely on the counter and Crystal Palace have another corner. Can they put the game to bed?

Nope. Ebony Salmon runs away with the ball and now Aston Villa have a corner.

    Nothing comes of that either.

Something to cling to here is that Tottenham haven't drawn a WSL game in 66 attempts.

We have hope of a goal...
