    Wow!

Another lofted ball into the box, another goal and it only took three minutes.

It's headed away by Carl Piergianni but only as far as John McAtee who drives a shot into the ground but it bounces up and loops over Taye Ashby-Hammond - it's not perfect but it's good enough.

Demoralising if you're a Stevenage player but there's time to come back yet.

  8. Postpublished at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Stockport 0-0 Reading

Louie Barry is the joint League One top scorer.

The Aston Villa loanee tries to curl a shot into the top corner of the Reading net but there's not enough bend on it and it's wide of goal.

  9. Postpublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Lincoln 0-1 Northampton

Tariqe Fosu has got the taste for it.

His early goal separates the teams and he gets another shot away but it's wide.

Promising signs this could be an entertaining one.

  10. Postpublished at 19:54 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Fleetwood 0-0 Salford

No time for settling in at Highbury.

Fleetwood take just two minutes to register their first effort on goal but Ronan Coughlan's shot can only get as far as the Salford defence.

Cods captain Brendan Wiredu also tries to capitalise on their early momentum, though his attempt goes flying north of the bar and Salford are given a second to think.

  11. Postpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Stockport 0-0 Reading

A quiet start to this one with neither goalkeeper troubled so far.

Mind you, when you haven't seen each other for 26 years it's bound to take some time to get going...

  12. 'Reading need a nice and steady start'published at 19:52 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Stockport 0-0 Reading

    Mick Gooding
Ex-Reading player/manager on BBC Radio Berkshire

I'm not expecting an early goal even though that'd be fantastic for Reading.

They just need a nice steady start to the game, no dramas.

  13. Postpublished at 19:52 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Lincoln 0-1 Northampton

That early goal has taken the majority of those in attendance at Sincil aback a bit.

But the home side react with a shot themselves - Ethan Hamilton has a go but the former Manchester United youngster's effort is wide of the target.

  14. Postpublished at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Stevenage 0-0 Bolton

Bolton's Arran Collins delivers a strike at goal against StevenageImage source, Rex Features

Lively start to this one but no real goal threat just yet. Just some fast-paced exchanges as both team's feel each other out.

Bolton's Aaron Collins goes for goal with a low attempt but it's wide of the target and fails to make Boro keeper Taye Ashby-Hammond sweat.

    That didn't take long...

Tariqe Fosu has his third goal of the season for the Cobblers.

It's a deflected shot but they all count and it comes after some excellent work from Tyler Roberts who gets the assist for his troubles.
