Great to see Tonali v Palhinha - arguably the two best midfielders in the league so far this season going head to head.

With Milos Kerkez everything is 100mph at the moment. There is no calmness about him.

On tonight's display, I don't think many of the "fringe" players are breaking into the Arsenal XI at the weekend. Brighton are very impressive.

First booking of the night goes to Diego Coppola for the most obvious drag back on Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Rio Ngumoha to start against Aston Villa on Saturday?

Brighton could really do with scoring while playing well because Arsenal's bench is probably one of the strongest you'll see.

Almost half an hour and we haven't conceded, who needs Virgil and Konate?

Good start by Liverpool. I hope some of the first team players are watching - this is the effort we require from a Liverpool team.

    Liverpool 0-0 Crystal Palace

Liverpool had conceded a goal in the opening 30 minutes in each of their past six matches.

Not tonight. This much-changed Reds defence has looked pretty solid.

  11. Sheehan taking a bold approachpublished at 20:17 GMT 29 October

    Swansea 1-0 Man City

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Swansea cannot be accused of sitting back and trying to defend their slender lead.

Every time the ball goes dead, Alan Sheehan is frantically waving his arms, urging his team to up the tempo.

It's a bold approach from the Swansea boss.

    So, so close....

It's sloppy from Manchester City playing out at the back. Classic playing it across your own box stuff, the most basic of errors.

  13. 'I expected better from Johnson'published at 20:17 GMT 29 October

    Newcastle 0-0 Tottenham

    Alan Smith
Former Arsenal forward on Sky Sports

Johnson has five yellow shirts in the box. That's the best moment from Tottenham going forward.

I expected better from Johnson. He had so much space to pick his spot.

Brennan Johnson, what are you doing?!

Richarlison finds Xavi Simons and Spurs are away. He feeds Johnson to the right and he slices straight into the crowd.

Rio Ngumoha is worth the admission price alone.

He's full of twists and turns and tricks. His latest attack ends with Federico Chiesa testing Walter Benitez.

Palace respond with an attack of their own which ends with a hooked attempt by Will Hughes which is saved by Freddie Woodman.

Carlos Baleba is having a great time storming through the centre pitch tonight and this time he finds Ferdi Kadioglu but Myles Lewis-Skelly defends the danger well.

  17. 'Let-off for Spurs'published at 20:13 GMT 29 October

    Newcastle 0-0 Tottenham

    Alan Smith
Former Arsenal forward on Sky Sports

There's a lovely pace to Newcastle's attacks at the moment.

That is a let-off for Spurs. Harvey Barnes got a couple against Benfica the other night and should've done better there.

Wolves have had a handful of chances, but Chelsea have been by far the better side.

As a Swansea fan, Man City were silly to underestimate Swansea. Know your audience! Coming to Wales is like stepping into a cauldron. I predict it to end 2-2 and Swansea to win on penalties.

Newcastle are electric right now and should be in the lead.
