I'm a City fan, but if you're going to concede, concede to that shot. It wasn't a powerful shot, but it was absolutely perfect.

The loudest noise of the night comes in the 20th minute with a tribute to Diogo Jota, who died in a car crash in the summer along with his brother Andre Silva.

That's not a bad effort at all.

A long punt forward and Federico Chiesa judges the bounce better than two Crystal Palace defenders, and the Italian creates space for himself before going for goal.

It's flies over the bar but that was encouraging for the home side.

Dan Burn finds the run of Jacob Ramsey. He makes space in the box before having a go but Spurs get men back to block.

    Great start from the holders.

Another tester for Kepa but he deals with it with ease. This time it's Georginio Rutter with the low drive.

A fascinating battle so far, both teams have contributed in different aspects.

    So nearly another for Chelsea....

A cross sneaks through the Wolves defence and finds Tyrique George in front of goal, about eight yards out, but he prods wide.

    Wolves 0-2 Chelsea

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport Chelsea reporter

There have been several self-deprecating chants from Wolves fans so far this evening but some are too lewd to repeat in this space.

The ones I can repeat are: "You're getting sacked in the morning", directed at manager Vitor Pereira", "we want Fosun (the owners out) and "we're going down".

One of the lewd chants was directed at executive chairman Jeff Shi. The fans have turned on everyone at the club and feel very concerned about their plight.
