GOAL - Linfield 1-0 Glenavonpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 21 December

    Chris McKee - 11 mins

What a brilliant team goal from Linfield to break the deadlock!

Matthew Fitzpatrick releases Ethan McGee down the left-hand side, who sends a pinpoint cross into the box where Chris McKee is lurking before he heads home past Mark Byrne and into the back of the net.

Great move from the Blues that results in the opening goal. That was Linfield's first real attack too which will frustrate Paddy McLaughlin.

I like some of the stuff Declan Devine is trying to do and hopefully he can help take Glentoran forward.

    Linfield 0-0 Glenavon

Chris Atherton shows some lovely footwork inside the Linfield box, skipping past two players before letting fly with a right-footed effort.

His strike sails high and wide of the near post.

  6. Postpublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 21 December

    Portadown 0-0 Crusaders

Portadown's Lee Chapman threads a nice, low cross into Ahu Obhakhan but Obhakhan just couldn’t get enough purchase on the ball to trouble the goal as the ball trickles wide.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 21 December

    Loughgall 0-0 Ballymena United

The first chance of the game brings an absolutely outstanding save from Loughgall's Nathan Gartside.

Andy Scott zips away down the right flank for Ballymena and his low cross is met with a first-time shot by Josh Carson but from virtually point-blank range, Gartside instintively diverts the ball wide.

Brilliant work from the Loughgall keeper.

    Cliftonville 0-0 Glentoran

David Fisher's cross from the left is turned behind by Michael Newberry for the first corner of the afternoon, which eventually comes to nothing.

The Glens are edging the opening few minutes in north Belfast, with the Reds yet to find their usual passing rhythm.

  9. Postpublished at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 21 December

    Portadown 0-0 Crusaders

No clear sights on goal for either side yet but Crusaders having the better of the action in the opening minutes with Portadown struggling to get out of their own half and Jordan Stewart looking dangerous.

    Loughgall 0-0 Ballymena United

Referee Evan Boyce starts the action at Lakeview Park where a monsoon-like hail shower during the players' warm-up has added an extra zip to the surface.

Can Loughgall build on two draws in their last two league outings against a Ballymena side who have lost seven of their last eight matches?

    Lee Doherty
    Radio Ulster summariser

With Coleraine getting this investment and being apparently being able to sign Joel Cooper and with what Larne have achieved in recent years, Linfield may have to look at a new financial model. The days of just depending on supporters' money to finance the club are probably over.

    Cliftonville v Glentoran

The Reds, still without suspended manager Jim Magilton in the dugout, make three enforced alterations following their disciplinary-marred defeat at Portadown.

Fresh from their impressive comeback victory at Seaview, the Glens also reshape their starting XI with three changes.

Frankie Hvid, James Singleton and Jordan Jenkins - the match-winner in the sides' last meeting - are drafted in, with only Jonny Russell retained among the substitutes as Aaron Wightman and Finley Thorndike make way.

Cliftonville: Odumosu, Newberry, Kearney, Hale, Curran, Piesold, Gormley, Glynn, Casey, Wilson, Steven.

Subs: Ridd, Pettifer, Ojo, Markey, Hawthorne, Corrigan, Madden.
