I am a Sunderland fan and I am delighted with our business this window. Only way it could have been better is if we got another winger in!

The England defender will remain at Palace until at least January.

  5. Wilson to stay at Fulhampublished at 19:53 British Summer Time 1 September

Harry Wilson is set to stay at Fulham despite deadline day interest from Leeds.

The 28-year-old had been subject to talks over a permanent deal but the two parties couldn't agree terms.

Fulham are hopeful of completing deals for multiple attackers, including Kevin, Tyrique George and Samuel Chukwueze.

It's unclear but we assume the deal sheet has gone in on at least some of those.

  6. Deal sheets all over the placepublished at 19:52 British Summer Time 1 September

We love a deal sheet here and now one has been submitted by Manchester City so they can complete the signing of PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

  7. 'Do Isak and Guehi's different approach to moving set a precedent?'published at 19:51 British Summer Time 1 September

    Rory Smith
Football correspondent for the Observer on BBC Radio 5 Live

Presuming Sami's update is right and there's no reason to believe it wouldn't be, does it set a bit of a precedent that Isak behaved not brilliantly and got his move?

That Yoane Wissa behaves not brilliantly, gets a move. Marc Guehi was really nice and hasn't got his move. It's not great, is it?

  8. 'Guehi isn't the type to agitate like Isak and Wissa'published at 19:49 British Summer Time 1 September

This is unverified, but Marc Guehi is going to stay at Crystal Palace. Despite the deal sheet going in.

That deal by the sounds of things, and I have to say it is unverified, is off.

When you are kind of divisive and you do take that different approach, it does leave a taste in people's mouths, but equally, this window has proven it got the job done.

Marc Guehi is not the type to do that. If he had kicked off and taken a different approach would he be at Liverpool now?

Possibly, but people are different. Guehi isn't the type to agitate like what Isak and Wissa have done.

  9. Postpublished at 19:48 British Summer Time 1 September

To be fair to Marc Guehi he has been playing for Palace so far this season - every game - even though he wants to join Liverpool.

So Oliver Glasner can be optimistic his captain will still put in committed performances for them if he does stay.

That's a pretty dramatic moment on deadline day then if we get it confirmed.

  11. Guehi set to stay at Palacepublished at 19:45 British Summer Time 1 September

Right then, some news on Liverpool's pursuit of Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi and it doesn't look good for Arne Slot.

The Athletic's David Ornstein is reporting that the 25-year-old is set to stay at Selhurst Park with replacement issues stopping the move.

More on this when we get it.

  12. DONE DEAL: Sunderland sign defender Geertruidapublished at 19:42 British Summer Time 1 September

Sunderland have further added to their ranks in the form of defender Lutsharel Geertruida from RB Leipzig.

The Netherlands international has signed on loan for the rest of the signing.

    Happy with that?

In the last couple of years the promoted clubs have gone straight back down. I'm astonished by Sunderland's spending, but blimey, they have given themselves an opportunity of staying up.

  14. DONE DEAL: Tigers add Leeds midfielder Gyabipublished at 19:38 British Summer Time 1 September

    Darko GyabiImage source, Rex Features

Hull City have made their second signing of the day with the arrival of Leeds United midfielder Darko Gyabi on a free transfer.

The 21-year-old, who has signed a three-year deal with the Tigers, made 43 appearances in the Championship during a loan spell at Plymouth Argyle last season.

He joins fellow midfielder Amir Hadziahmetovic in making the move to the East Yorkshire side.

  15. Toon still wait on Wissa confirmation, Osula expected to staypublished at 19:36 British Summer Time 1 September

    Ciaran Kelly
    BBC Sport Newcastle United reporter

Newcastle United have submitted a deal sheet as the club look to complete the signing of Yoane Wissa.

Newcastle had already agreed a deal worth £55m with Brentford before the window shut at 19:00 BST.

But the black-and-whites have lodged a deal sheet with the Premier League, which will give the club until 21:00 to push through all the remaining paperwork.

In terms of outgoings, William Osula is not expected to leave after Eintracht Frankfurt had shown an interest in the striker.

Winger Trevan Sanusi has joined FC Lorient on loan. The 18-year-old will spend the rest of the season at the Ligue 1 side.

  16. Postpublished at 19:35 British Summer Time 1 September

I like the idea of Alexander Isak wishing he had Jacob Murphy next to him and not Mohamed Salah.

Murphy set up eight goals for Isak last season btw.

  17. How does Isak adapt?published at 19:34 British Summer Time 1 September

    Joe Hart
Former England and Man City goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live Monday Night Club

On how the Liverpool forward line works with Isak:

They have get to get him in the building and train with him. They have got people that are going to run games and they need to figure out how he's going to gel with them.

How does he gel with Florian Wirtz? How does he deal with the fact that Mo Salah is going to play regardless of his quality in the game. That's not me knocking him, he had some basic touches yesterday [against Arsenal] but we all knew he could at some point do something to decide the game. He didn't but he still has that.

Isak is used to someone on that right hand side that is a work horse and puts it on a plate for him. How does he adapt? Arne Slot will have many ideas.

  18. Deal sheet for Wissa movepublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 1 September

Like Marc Guehi's proposed move to Liverpool, we're hearing that a deal sheet has also been submitted for Yoane Wissa's transfer to Newcastle.

Buckle up, we could be here a while longer yet.

Leeds still paying for their poor recruitment last time they were in the Premier League. It's a double whammy, they spent a lot of money on average players that got them relegated and then many deserted the club for miserly fees affecting their PSR now. Tough to take.

I'm told the deals are done at Rangers for Everton striker Youssef Chermiti and Marseille's Canada defender Derek Cornelius.

We await the official announcement from Ibrox.

I'm also told Rangers are not necessarily done for the night, and are still chasing one more forward.

We also await confirmation of Cyriel Dessers' departure to Panathinaikos.
