Liam McStravick's late goal dented Livingston's promotion hopes
Livingston's promotion hopes suffered a blow as Liam McStravick's late goal earned struggling Airdrieonians a point in a six-goal Scottish Championship thriller at Albert Bartlett Stadium.
Dean McMaster put the hosts in front after 22 minutes before Robbie Muirhead brought David Martindale's side level with a free-kick shortly after.
However, Airdrieonians regained the lead before half-time through Ben Wilson after Lewis McGrattan hit the post, and the drama continued after the break.
Danny Wilson headed in a Muirhead corner and Stephen Kelly curled home to put Livingston in front for the first time, but McStravick bundled home late on to deny the visitors what would have been a crucial victory.
Falkirk's convincing victory at Queen's Park means Livingston now trail the league-leaders by eight points, although they have leapfrogged Ayr United into second after Scott Brown's side were beaten by Partick Thistle.
