It would be too easy for Walsall to take advantage of Gillingham's bad day at the office, the Saddlers have conceded another goal to Barrow.

Dilan Markanday scored another equaliser, leaving 19 all at the top of the table between Gillingham, Walsall and Doncaster, who won 3-0 earlier in the day.

Accrington's 2-0 lead over lead over relegation rivals and winless Morecambe, buts them one point from safety with a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Carlisle are having a difficult afternoon against Colchester, with only one shot on target but they have managed to keep it goalless.

As it stands, Wycombe are heading into the top six as they continue to lead Crawley 1-0.

Bolton have come from 2-0 down at home to Shrewsbury and that one is in the balance at 2-2.

The two winless sides are behind - Cambridge United trail Exeter 1-0 and Burton surrendered a 1-0 half-time lead to Bristol Rovers with the visitors 2-1 up.

Lincoln hold a 1-0 advantage at home to Leyton Orient and Wigan still lead Stockport by the same scoreline.

  10. goal

GOAL: Wrexham 4-1 Northampton Townpublished at 16:30 British Summer Time 5 October

    James McClean (67 mins)

Surely the 100% home record has been protected now.

It's a familiar story; Ryan Barnett with the pass, Wrexham's captain James McClean at the back post. Routine at this point.

Barnett has been responsible for assisting all four of the Red Dragons goals so far. That's a mighty impressive stat.

  11. RED CARD: For Reading's Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan (68 mins)published at 16:27 British Summer Time 5 October

    Rotherham 2-1 Reading

Two yellows = a red and Reading's Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan has to walk the plank.

It's a long way back for Reading now who've collapsed in this second-half.

  13. Postpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 5 October

    Rotherham 2-1 Reading

Rotherham are ticking along nicely in the second-half.

Two goals in the opening 11 minutes have turned this around and only a great save from David Button prevents Sam Nombe adding his second and Rotherham's third.

League leaders Gillingham's afternoon gets considerably worse, as Shilow Tracey has a second goal to extend Crewe's lead to 2-0.

It took just a minute for Walsall to re-establish their lead over Chesterfield, with Nathan Lowe doubling his tally for the day to make it 2-1, the goals marks his third goal for the Saddlers in two away games.

After only managing one shot on target in the first half, Barrow didn't wait long to silence the doubters. Emile Acquah was the man to deliver the equaliser against Cheltenham, who took the shot from the centre of box, before placing it in the bottom right.

Salford v Wimbledon and Swindon v Harrogate remain in a stalemate, with neither team able to take advantage of their opportunities.

    Elliot Lee (56 mins)

Wrexham's Elliot Lee has been going for it and he finally sees his effort rewarded.

He gets his head on the end of Ryan Barnett's - yes, him again - delivery to give the home side a two goal cushion.

But Northampton Town are back on the attack again, undeterred.

    Charlton 1-0 Birmingham

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

It's hard to say Birmingham's performance deserves any better than they are getting.

They haven't looked like the Blues we have watch most of the season they haven't look as sharp.

    Can they lift themselves?

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:17 British Summer Time 5 October

Matty Godden celebrates in front of the Charlton fansImage source, Rex Features

You can't say it hasn't been coming.

Birmingham haven't been at the races today and Charlton have finally been able to take advantage as Matty Godden converts on the turn as a long throw-in bounces into his path.

Blues will need to magic up a response if they are to keep their unbeaten away record this season.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:16 British Summer Time 5 October

    Wrexham 2-1 Northampton Town

Northampton Town forward Tyler Roberts has an effort on target and it takes the tip of Arthur Okonkwo's gloves to deny an equaliser.

The second-half has started much like the first-half ended. Anyone's game.
