  1. goal

GOAL: Rotherham 2-1 Readingpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 5 October

    Hakeem Odoffin (56 mins)

What a turnaround right at the start of the second-half and in the blink of an eye (okay it's a longish blink) Rotherham are ahead.

Joe Rafferty crosses to the far post and Hakeem Odoffin heads in.

  2. Postpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 5 October

    Mansfield 2-0 Blackpool

What sort of response have Blackpool got in the second-half?

They've started brightly with Ashley Fletcher heading wide but it feels like a long way back for Steve Bruce's side.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 5 October

    Charlton 0-0 Birmingham

Birmingham City boss Chris Davies, clearly unhappy with his team's performance in the first-half, has made a big half-time switch with three changes.

Alfie May, Keshi Anderson, Krystian Bielik are off. Ben Davies, Scott Wright and Emil Hansson are on.

  4. Postpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 5 October

    Notts County 0-1 Port Vale

Notts County forward Alassana Jatta forces a save from Connor Ripley who turns behind a side-footed volley.

There was just the one change at the break with George Abbott coming on for Nick Tsaroulla for the Magpies.

  5. goal

GOAL: Rotherham 1-1 Readingpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 5 October

    Sam Nombe (49 mins)

Sam Nombe came close in the first-half for Rotherham, well now he has found the back of the net as he turns in Joe Powell's cross.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 5 October

    Wrexham 2-1 Northampton Town

Northampton Town's Nesta Guinness-Walker is on for his debut as Liam McCarron makes way at half-time.

  7. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:05 British Summer Time 5 October

Right, 45 minutes and a bit to go.

What does the second-half have in store for us?

Burton Albion and Accrington Stanley are ahead for their first wins of the season. Can they stay there?

  8. League One half-timepublished at 15:56 British Summer Time 5 October

    #bbcefl

This could be a good day for two of the strugglers.

Burton are searching for their first win of the season and Danilo Orsi's goal has them 1-0 up against Bristol Rovers.

Cambridge United have the longest winless run in the EFL alongside Morecambe and that could stretch to 15 games unless they can comeback from 1-0 down at Exeter.

Staying at the bottom and Shrewsbury have got themselves 2-0 in front at Bolton.

Wycombe could move into the top six with a win and they're halfway there - leading Crawley 1-0.

Thelonious Aasgaard has given Wigan the lead at Stockport with a goal on the stroke of half-time.

  9. League Two half-timepublished at 15:55 British Summer Time 5 October

Walsall's Nathan Lowe has resumed normal service for the Saddlers with a goal down the centre of the net. As they look to head to the top of the table, following their 6-2 loss to Fleetwood Town last weekend.

However, Chesterfield weren't going to give in that easy, with Oldaker scoring in extra-time in the first-half to dampen the visitors spirit.

Meanwhile, in the game between the bottom two, Accrington Stanley took the lead with a penalty from Dara Costelloe, after a foul in the area from Morecambe's Yann Songo'o. The Irishman has added a second to increase their lead to 2-0.

It was Ryan Bowman for Cheltenham who took advantage of Barrow just before half-time, to let the Robins take the lead into the break.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:53 British Summer Time 5 October

    Mansfield 2-0 Blackpool

It's the Stephen McLaughlin and Will Evans show at Field Mill.

Twice McLaughlin has found Evans with a cross and a header and twice the Welshman has applied the finishing touch.

Rob Apter's come closest for Blackpool but found Christy Pym's outstretched leg instead of the net and Oliver Casey has headed over the bar.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 5 October

    Charlton 0-0 Birmingham

A muted first-half for both teams with neither side having a shot on target as they enter the tunnel.

Perhaps a little surprisingly, it's Charlton who have had the majority of the chances but a lack of a clinical finish sees them not able to get themselves ahead.

Birmingham, on the other hand, have only had a single pop at goal in what was a limp first-half for the team at the top of the table.

If Blues stay like this, then the team to beat may just find themselves beaten.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 5 October

    Wrexham 2-1 Northampton Town

    What a game.

Both sides are open as a book and it's led to three goals, all against the run of play. Where can this one go?

Northampton began like a rocket but weren't able to capitalise on any of their early chances before conceding a shock goal to Wrexham captain James McClean.

Then it was the Red Dragon's time to stamp their authority - only for Cobblers Cameron McGeehan to play copycat and bring things level. For a short time anyway, as Jack Marriott put the home side ahead 11 minutes later.

No side feel like they are out of the game yet it also feels like someone could just run away with it. Only the second-half will reveal their fates.

  13. Postpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 5 October

    Charlton 0-0 Birmingham

Charlton have FOUR added minutes to make their mounting pressure count.

Can they take the lead against the league leaders?

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 5 October

    Rotherham 0-1 Reading

Lewis Wing's top quality strike from a free-kick has Reading ahead at the break as they look for three successive wins in the league for the first time since August 2022.

Jonson Clarke-Harris has come closest to a Rotherham equaliser but David Button made a good save.

  15. Postpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 5 October

    Wrexham 2-1 Northampton Town

Four added minutes for Northampton Town to go into half-time level.

Or for Wrexham to begin to pull away.

In this game, anything could happen.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 5 October

    Notts County 0-1 Port Vale

Lorent Tolaj's goal for Port Vale separates the sides at Meadow Lane.

Work to do for Notts County if they are to keep the pressure on at the top of the League Two table.

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:46 British Summer Time 5 October

    Charlton 0-0 Birmingham

Krystian Bielik of Birmingham challenges Charlton's Allan CampbellImage source, Rex Features

As few and far between the opportunities have been in this game, they seem to be falling to the home side.

Daniel Kanu is ready for a Conor Coventry pass but, again, the target is evaded as Kanu's strike swings wide.

  18. goal

GOAL: Mansfield 2-0 Blackpoolpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 5 October

    Will Evans (39 mins)

Or should we just say Will Evans 2-0 Blackpool?

That's four for the season now for the Welshman as McLaughlin nods across the face of goal and Evans was never going to miss.

Steve Bruce facing a first league defeat as Blackpool boss?

  19. goal

GOAL: Wrexham 2-1 Northampton Townpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 5 October

    Jack Marriott (38 mins)

    Madness, this.

The back post is seeing some action today as Wrexham's Ryan Barnett picks up his second assist of the day by crossing to an awaiting Jack Marriott.

This game could go absolutely anywhere as both teams defences are struggling.

  20. Postpublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 5 October

    Rotherham 0-1 Reading

Lewis Wing's stunning free-kick still has Reading in front but goalkeeper David Button preserves the lead by denying Jonson Clarke-Harris.
