The changes are paying off for Hearts, who force goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe into two saves in quick succession.

They follow it up by winning a free-kick about 25 yards from goal that Blair Spittal delivers and, after a scramble, Motherwell clear.

The Hearts boss has taken off Sander Kartum and Musa Drammeh and on come the experienced Cammy Devlin in midfield and Lawrence Shankland up front.

A massive second half gets under way for Motherwell and Hearts.

With the pressure off United, they are certainly playing a free-flowing style of football that has the fans on their feet here at Tannadice.

They look dangerous every time they come forward and have had the Saints defence on their heels.

Saints, though, are still very much in this and came close to equalising before the break. Should be an interesting second half.

Peterhead and Edinburgh are looking to improve their positions at the top of the fourth tier, while all the teams at the bottom are drawing.

As it stands, Livingston are going to narrow the gap on second-tier leaders Falkirk.

After the resolute showing last weekend, Simo Valakari will be furious his St Johnstone side conceded such a soft set-piece goal.

It was Emmanuel Adegboyega who profited from the slack defending, tapping home a second ball at the front post.

However, it's Saints who have had more chances and Stephen Duke-McKenna is causing all sorts of problems on the left-hand side.

Stephen Duke-McKenna's cross is put just over the bar by young Sam Cleall-Harding, almost scoring an own goal.

The Saints winger is causing carnage on the left.

He sets up another chance for Victor Griffith moments later, but his shot deflects and loops just wide. A strong finish to the end of the first half, but can they find a goal?

A goal apiece at the break in Paisley and two powerful strikes at that as Ronan Hale's County opener was cancelled out by St Mirren's Caolan Boyd-Munce.

As things stand, St Mirren are finishing just outside the top six, so they need at least another goal in this one.

It's still all to play for in the second half at Fir Park after a goalless opening 45 minutes.

It was a pretty even contest and neither side really threatened the other's goal.

If things stay as they are around the grounds, it's Hearts who will be the final team in the top six.

Another effort from Caolan Boyd-Munce is kept out by County goalkeeper Jordan Assimah and Toyosi Olusanya cannot get to the rebound before it is cleared.

Hearts' Blair Spittal picks up the ball on the wing and runs into the middle to get his shot away, but it's a tame effort and goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe has no trouble keeping hold of it.

Mark O'Hara lifts a shot over the top of the County bar after being set up by Toyosi Olusanya.

Lennon Miller is brought down by Hearts' Adam Forrester inches outside his own box, he goes into the book for his trouble and Motherwell have a free-kick in a dangerous area.

Miller plays it short and Callum Slattery's strike is deflected behind for a Motherwell corner.

It drops to Tony Watt after it is headed clear, but the striker lashes his attempt wide.
