After a relatively cagey start to things at Dens Park, it is the home side who are starting to look the more threatening.

The threat on either flank is causing the Killie rearguard a few problems at the moment.

Dundee have had a couple of chances to get into the Kilmarnock box but a poor final pass has let them down.

It's very tight again between these two so far.

    Lewis Miller

    Making us eat our words.

It's a brilliant ball in from Jordan Obita. He hangs it up to the back post and Miller rises to power in a header back across the goalkeeper.

    A fine header.

Some pundits accused Lewis Miller of being unable to defend last week. He isn't much better when it comes to shooting.

Jordan Obita was able to saunter into the United box and all the way to the line before cutting the ball back. Miller was all alone in the six-yard box, but his effort was more of a clearance than a shot.

    Dear me.

    Dundee 0-0 Kilmarnock

It's been a lively start at Dens Park with both teams keen to get the ball into the box early, but no real chances so far.

Matty Kennedy did have a fierce strike from the edge of the box which was blocked by the Dundee defence.

    Hibernian 0-0 Dundee United

The possession stats show Hibs have had 75% of the ball in the opening 22 minutes. Yet, Jack Walton hasn't made a real save of note.

The United keeper didn't look smart there though. He failed to collect a corner, allowing Lewis Miller to sweep a volley at goal - but it's way over.

United's Will Ferry has got a throw like Rory Delap, and he launches one in.

It's cleared away, but only as far as Glenn Middleton and he launches a volley from 30 yards out that whistles about a yard past the post.

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November

    Hibernian 0-0 Dundee United

Dundee United have started to create, mainly down the left. Glenn Middleton put in a teasing low cross before Sam Dalby was able to get a shot away.

All comfortable enough for the Hibs defence, but United have sounded their first warnings.

Hibs come forward through Joe Newell, but his low cross is easy to gather.

Regardless, Hibs have started with real intent and the skipper seems buoyed by his milestone 200th appearance.
