Fair point, well made Callum. Whatever we decide to call it, let's just hope it's tasty.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Danilo could make his return against Luton after recovering from a broken ankle.

The 23-year-old is expected to be in the squad for Forest's third round FA Cup tie at the City Ground on Saturday.

Danilo broke his ankle just six minutes into the season after landing awkwardly during Forest's 1-1 draw with Bournemouth on the opening day in August.

He will not start the game but boss Nuno Espirito Santo is hopeful the Brazilian can feature in the third round.

He said: "We all wish to see Danilo back on the pitch. He is going to be involved in the squad, he is not going to start. Hopefully we can see him, but we are delighted to have him back.

"Danilo has a smile that is contagious. It has been really good to have him back."

100 years since The Blades beat Cardiff and last won the Cup in 1925. In that time we’ve lost six semi finals in my lifetime and one where we even scored 3 goals! Bout time we returned to Wembley methinks…

Fresh breaking news to bring you...

Luton Town have confirmed manager Rob Edwards has left his role at the club by mutual agreement.

The 42-year-old was appointed in November 2022 and steered The Hatters to promotion back to the top flight for the first time for over 30 years in 2023.

He remained at the helm despite relegation from the Premier League after just a single season, but a run of four straight defeats has left them 20th in the Championship.

Monday's 2-1 defeat at Queens Park Rangers was their 10th in a row away from home and they are just two places and two points above the relegation places.

I would have thought that Marco Silva would have appreciated that this year marks the 59th anniversary of Fulham's only appearance in the FA Cup final. It would be good to think that Fulham could win a major trophy this year. They will probably crash out tonight in Fulham-ish style, though.

  17. 'We want our players to feel good' - Nunopublished at 14:01 Greenwich Mean Time

Nottingham Forest v Luton Town (Sat, 15:00 GMT)

    Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo on his side's huge improvement this season:

"I think basically the comitment of the players, realising how important it is. When you speak about defence it's not only the back four and goalkeeper, but defending start with Chris [Wood]. It's about the whole team. Clean sheets are the starting point if you want to do well."

Are there any updates on a potential new contract for Murillo?

"There are things in the club each one of us does. I don't take care of that part. What I see is that they are happy, not only Murillo but others.

"Things are going well. The people responsible for that kind of thing are taking care of it.

"When a player is happy at a club there is no issue. What we want is our players to feel good. We provide the right atmosphere but then they have to do their jobs on the pitch."

Do the expiring contracts of important players like Chris Wood and Ola Aina prove a distraction?:

"I don't think there's an issue on that. They are playing very well."

The third-round draw handed Accrington Stanley of League Two a dream tie against Premier League leaders Liverpool at Anfield.

"We've finally got that big one," Accrington captain Seamus Conneely told the club's website. "We've played in some great stadiums, but I think Liverpool is going to top it all. It's a great tie for all of us."

This will be the first meeting between the two sides in 69 years. If we travel back to 1956, in another FA Cup game, Liverpool - wearing a yellow kit - beat Accrington by two goals courtesy of legendary forward, Billy Liddell.

"It'll be fantastic to say that you've played at Anfield, one of the most famous stadiums in all the world, "added Conneely, "against a team that is one of the, if not the best team in Europe at the moment.
