    MK Dons 1-2 Bradford City

    Paul Dixon
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

At the moment, unless you're a Bradford City supporter, this is how it ends. As a supporter, you think you might concede but everyone else can't see it.

    MK Dons 1-2 Bradford City

Bradford boss Graham Alexander is just minutes away from enjoying the satisfaction of a victory on his first game back in Milton Keynes since his dismissal by the Dons last October.

It's not been pretty in this second half, but his side are hanging on despite a barrage of pressure from the home side. Two minutes plus added time to go...

    Barrow 1-0 Crewe

Lee Bell has made four changes to his Crewe side as they try to draw level.

Time is running out for them, though.

    Harrogate 0-2 Bromley

364 supporters have followed Bromley up north for their big EFL kick-off and they are loving this.

Three points look to be in the bag for Andy Woodman's new boys.

    Salford 0-2 Port Vale

Former Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn has been thrown on for Salford and he forces Connor Ripley to tip over his effort.

A bit of a camera save maybe, but Ripley does his job and keeps it out.

    Tranmere 0-0 Notts County

Just 10 minutes left for one of these sides to covert one point into three and the visitors continue to look the likelier candidates to do that.

Cedwyn Scott has come close again for Notts County, but don't rule Tranmere out of the late winner stakes either.

Connor Wood and Tom Davies have put in some sterling defensive blocks for Rovers to keep it at 0-0.

  7. Postpublished at 16:37 British Summer Time 10 August

    Barrow 1-0 Crewe

It feels like there will be a second goal in this game, but we're not sure which way it will go.

Conor Mahoney nearly provides the cushion for the Bluebirds, but Filip Marschall does well to keep out his low effort.

That is one of Mahoney's last acts as he is taken off by Stephen Clemence, who had him on loan at Gillingham last season.

Doncaster are cooking on gas and have retaken the lead over Accrington at the Eco-Power Stadium with a pair of goals in quick succession. Luke Molyneux netted their second with a superb strike from 30 yards out. Jordan Gibson made it 3-1 just minutes later.

Gillingham extend their lead over Carlisle thanks to a goal from Jack Nolan, from an incredibly tight angle on the edge of the six-yard-area, to make it 3-1 to the Gills.

    MK Dons 1-2 Bradford City

    Andy Kiwomya
Ex-Bradford forward and head of performance on BBC Radio Leeds

It's a great save (again!) from Sam Walker. At point blank range, he's pushed the ball back into the box.

Bromley are heading for three points on their first game in League Two!

A corner comes in and Kamarl Grant meets it with a looping header that he directs towards goal and replacement goalkeeper Mark Oxley cannot keep it out.

    EFL, you're having a laugh!

    MK Dons 1-2 Bradford City

It really does feel as if MK Dons have done everything but score in this second half.

Substitute Matt Dennis is next to threaten, galloping onto a through ball from Alex Gilbey and forcing another save from Sam Walker.

Another opportunity for Stephen Wearne too - although this one was a tricky attempt from distance after Aaron Nemane cut the ball back into the box at speed.

    Ben Garrity (69 mins)

Two for Port Vale and two for Ben Garrity.

Ronan Curtis sends over the corner from the left, Garrity climbs highest and powers a fine downward header past Jamie Jones.

The 1,366 fans behind the goal go nuts!

Wimbledon have increased their lead over Colchester through Omar Bugiel who heads a deflected shot into the back of the net. The Dons now comfortably on top 4-2 at Plough Lane.

Carlisle have one back against Gillingham. Jon Mellish scoring from close range to make it 2-1 to the Gills.

It remains all square between Cheltenham and Newport at 2-2 with no goals yet in this second half.

    Barrow 1-0 Crewe

Crewe fans cannot believe they have not equalised.

Shilow Tracey, who has been involved in lots of their most threatening moments, dinks a lovely ball towards the back post, but no-one is there to force it home.

  15. Postpublished at 16:27 British Summer Time 10 August

    Tranmere 0-0 Notts County

Surely we're going to get a goal here at some stage?

Notts County thought they had one when Dan Crowley's cross reached Alassana Jatta, only for the Gambian forward to be foiled by Tom Davies' excellent defending.

At the other end, Luke Norris sets up Josh Davison, but it's a fairly routine stop for Alex Bass.

  16. goal

    Michael Cheek (62 mins)

Bromley players celebrate scoring a goalImage source, Rex Features

    The sheer Cheek of it!

Bromley have their first goal as an EFL club and it's main man Michael Cheek with it.

Idris Odutayo fires a ball across the box and Cheek chests it into the net from about three yards - using all his striking instincts there.

Cheek got 27 last season and he now has a League Two goal.

    MK Dons 1-2 Bradford City

    Paul Dixon
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

They've had their chances this half, MK Dons, even though Bradford have had the possession.

Shame that miss earlier from Stephen Wearne. He's played really well but I think that might have affected him. He's just shanked that one.

  18. Postpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 10 August

    MK Dons 1-2 Bradford City

Never mind level, MK Dons could easily be ahead as they continue to pound on the Bradford door.

Stephen Wearne got in a tangle as he tried to convert a cross from the left, then minutes later he drilled another chance over from close range.

In between those, Dons skipper Alex Gilbey tested Sam Walker with another low drive that almost crept in at the far post before the keeper flung himself low to scramble the ball around.

    Salford 0-1 Port Vale

Darren Moore won just two games after coming in as Port Vale manager in February.

How dearly he would love to get this new campaign up and running with three points.

  20. Postpublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 10 August

    Fleetwood 1-0 Grimsby

Fleetwood could do with a second goal to kill this game off - and Danny Mayor might have grabbed it just now.

Ronan Coughlan lays the ball off to Mayor, who bundles his shot tamely at the keeper and Grimsby, at 1-0 down, are still in this.
