Gillingham have doubled their lead over Carlisle to 2-0 thanks to a well placed strike from Jake Wakeling on the counter.

Accrington are back on level terms 1-1 with Doncaster after Tyler Walton's effort flew past Teddy Sharman-Lowe.

    Salford 0-1 Port Vale

Just two shots on goal from Salford and not one on target since the early first half free-kick from Luke Garbutt.

They need to show a bit more if they want to get back into this game.

    MK Dons 1-2 Bradford City

End to end stuff here - and now Bradford almost extend their lead to 3-1.

Andy Cook wriggles between two defenders and tries to dink the ball over Dons goalkeeper Tom McGill, who's a little fortunate that it strikes him in the face and deflects behind.

  4. Postpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 10 August

    Barrow 1-0 Crewe

Crewe definitely don't want to lose their unbeaten record.

Last season's beaten play-off finalists have been closer to a goal in this half as Max Sanders sends a free-kick over the top and Conor Thomas curls one past the post.

  5. 'Huge let off'published at 16:11 British Summer Time 10 August

    MK Dons 1-2 Bradford City

    Andy Kiwomya
Ex-Bradford forward and head of performance on BBC Radio Leeds

Huge let off for Bradford City.

They are looking around, the Bradford defenders. It's Tyreik Wright that's caught ball-watching.

  6. Postpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 10 August

    MK Dons 1-2 Bradford City

MK Dons have certainly started this second half better than they did the first - then again, not conceding twice inside the first five minutes will help.

They might have been level after a great run down the right by Stephen Wearne and his low cross reached Callum Hendry, but the striker was unable to get his shot away and Sam Walker smothered the ball gratefully.

  7. Postpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 10 August

    Salford 0-1 Port Vale

Salford head coach Karl Robinson has made a half-time change with Daniel Chesters on for Jon Taylor.

They trail to that injury-time effort from Ben Garrity of course.

The 22 sides are slowly returning to the field after their half-time refreshers.

More of the same or a kick up the backside? Remember, NOBODY likes to lose on the opening day and give up their unbeaten record!

Wimbledon enter the break with all the momentum after coming back from two goals down to now lead Colchester 3-2.

A pair of goals in quick succession thrust Cheltenham out to an early 2-0 lead over Newport. But the visitors peeled themselves off the canvas and found two goals of their own - one from the penalty spot - to level the score at 2-2 before the halftime oranges.

Elsewhere, Walsall lead Morecambe 1-0, Gillingham have the upper hand over Carlisle by the same score line 1-0.

Doncaster also have a 1-0 lead over Accrington.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:54 British Summer Time 10 August

    Harrogate 0-0 Bromley

A couple of injuries have marred proceedings, but it has been a decent first 45 minutes for Bromley on their EFL debut.

They have more than matched Harrogate and but for Levi Sutton's goal-line clearance, they would be ahead.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:53 British Summer Time 10 August

    Barrow 1-0 Crewe

Theo Vassell's goal sees Barrow lead at the break.

Stephen Clemence is halfway towards his first victory in his first game in charge of the Cumbrians.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 British Summer Time 10 August

    Salford 0-1 Port Vale

The Port Vale fans are singing as the players leave the field. How a goal changes the mood of a match!

Thanks to Ben Garrity, the visitors lead at the break.

HT: MK Dons 1-2 Bradford City

    Paul Dixon
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

We hoped there wouldn't be a hangover from last season now they've got seven debutants in but other than Andy Cook's shot over the bar, MK Dons have controlled the game.

The ball is glued to the right and I'd like to see them use the left more. Liam Kelly had far more influence on the game in the latter half.

It's difficult because Bradford City, since the second goal, are playing very deep. MK Dons get the ball into the final third and are faced with 10 defenders. They have to find a way of breaking that down.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 10 August

    Fleetwood 1-0 Grimsby

So far, so good for Fleetwood as they begin their first campaign at this level since 2014.

Mark Helm, signed in the summer from Burton Albion, has a debut goal for the Cod Army - the only one of the game so far.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 10 August

    MK Dons 1-2 Bradford City

It's only thanks to Bradford goalkeeper Sam Walker that his side still lead at the interval.

Just before the whistle, Callum Hendry muscled his way into a shooting position but Walker beat his drive away and Alex Gilbey's follow-up was charged down.

GOAL: Salford 0-1 Port Valepublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 10 August

    Ben Garrity (45+3 mins)

The Port Vale captain breaks the deadlock.

Jamie Jones makes a fine save from Ben Heneghan's header, but Ben Garrity is first to the rebound and pokes into the corner.

    The visiting fans love it!

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 10 August

    Tranmere 0-0 Notts County

Some good spells of football but no goals so far.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 10 August

    Barrow 1-0 Crewe

Crewe nearly have an equaliser just before the break.

Shilow Tracey takes aim and his curler beats goalkeeper Paul Farman, but not the upright.

Incredible fightback from Wimbledon who now lead Colchester 3-2 after they were down two goals inside the games opening 10 minutes. Goals from James Bell, Jake Reeves and a penalty from Matt Stevens have the Dons back on track.

A pair of goals in quick succession put Cheltenham on top early. Midfielder Joel Colwill - who moments before finding the back of the net slashed an effort wide - opened the scoring in the 22nd minute.

Five minutes later Liam Dulson doubled their lead from close range. But Newport got one back from the penalty spot with Courtney Baker-Richardson converting after Bobby Kamwa was brought down inside the box and the Welsh side are now level thanks to Oliver Greaves.

Gillingham remain 1-0 up against Carlisle thanks to an early goal from Timothee Dieng.

And Taylor Allen's superb strike from outside the box has Walsall 1-0 up over Morecambe.
