There's a cracking atmosphere at Windsor Park, Belfast, where this all-Ireland fixture is taking place. Around 1,600 fans have travelled from Dublin to back Shamrock Rovers, while there are estimates of up to 6,000 inside the ground. The noise they're all making, it feels like a lot more.

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca talking to TNT Sports: "When the game is close, you are more [emotionally] close to the game so you change a little but we try to prepare the game in the same way we always have done."

"In this kind of game, you have to manage emotions, especially for the tribute at the beginning of the game so [it] will be a complicated in all the aspects."

On 11 changes: "It's just to share minutes, they all deserve to get minutes, tonight is a chance for them but overall, I think it's something we have done since we started."

Panathinaikos winger Facundo Pellistri talking to TNT Sports: "It was a shock, a shock news, not only for the club and for the country but also for the world. For us, it was a very sad moment and we are trying all together, the club, the team mates, to fight for him on the pitch, you have to keep going, you have to try to do it the best way as possible."

"We talk all together, we always try to think about how George will want us to be now and we're trying to play for him and he 100% will be happy if we do our best on the pitch and try to keep going so of course, we're all together with him because we believe he is still with us and try to achieve all the tournaments and everything."

Jose Mourinho left Manchester United in December 2018.

However, his legacy at Old Trafford remains even though we are now onto the third manager since Mourinho's exit.

Now Fenerbahce coach after his summer move to Turkey, Mourinho remains box office.

Jose Mourinho told Fenerbahce fans "this shirt is my skin" when he was presented as the new coach of the Turkish Super Lig club on 1 June.

Almost five months on and pressure is starting to build on the Portuguese.

Fenerbahce sit fourth in Turkey's top flight - eight points behind leaders and fierce rivals Galatasaray.

In their most recent match, Fenerbahce twice led at Samsunspor before being held to a 2-2 draw.

  9. 'Wrong approach'published at 17:34 British Summer Time 24 October

Fenerbahce v Man Utd (20:00 BST)

Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho on tonight's game: "I don't see any reason for Manchester United to be afraid of Fenerbahce but I think they know it's not an easy game for them.

"If they think it's easy, if they come thinking it'll be easy, it is the wrong approach and I don't think that will be the approach. They know the game can be difficult for them.

"I think they will come with maximum strength, I don’t think they are going to rotate players before next weekend’s match, they come full strength, that’s what I’d do."

Twenty minutes with Jose Mourinho in a packed room at Fenerbahce's training ground in Istanbul on Wednesday reminded everyone present of his magnetism.

From two spells at Chelsea to one at Tottenham, for good and bad, he was impossible to ignore. His ability to attract attention remains almost unmatched.

A Europa League meeting with Manchester United at the cauldron that is the Sukru Saracoglu stadium pits him against his second Premier League club, where the desperation for success was at its greatest.

Mourinho left United almost six years ago. But while he is gone, he is certainly not forgotten.

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Manchester City defender on the Football Daily podcast

Jose Mourinho's team still needs to perform, but he is so good in those interviews, in terms of getting underneath peoples skin.

This is who Mourinho is. We first saw him for Porto running down the touchline at Old Trafford [when Porto knocked Man Utd out of the Champions League in 2004].

He is still the special one and he's still very entertaining.

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
Commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live in Istanbul

The Jose Mourinho factor adds a little bit of extra spice to this.

I thought he was in sparkling form at his news conference yesterday and was nice as pie.

For Manchester United in terms of the Europa League, it's really important they get a win on the board and do that as soon as possible.

They come here off the back of a really good second half performance against Brentford and this feels like the ideal time to try and build on that and get another win.

Fenerbahce v Man Utd (20:00 BST)

We're around 20 minutes away from kick-off in our early matches but the standout fixture this evening is arguably Manchester United's trip to Fenerbahce. Not least because of one Jose Mourinho, who was up to his usual antics in the press conference yesterday.

The former Manchester United boss will be relishing this match tonight.

  14. 'We have to enjoy this experience'published at 17:25 British Summer Time 24 October

Larne v Shamrock Rovers (17:45 BST)

Larne manager Tiernan Lynch, speaking about facing Shamrock Rovers: "I don't think, whether we win this game or lose this game, people will walk away thinking Larne beat Shamrock Rovers so now the Irish League is better than the League of Ireland.

"I don't think it'll be anything like that. It's an experience we have to enjoy, have to embrace.

"But also we have to make sure that the domestic league is our bread and butter. We know that from the 22 December, the Europa stuff is over and we can concentrate fully on our domestic league.

"There's lots of things going on that we have to keep an eye on but we know what we want to do, we have a gameplan. Whether that works over the course of seven or eight months, I don't know, but it's something we've been working towards."

Chelsea have a manager that is what I call an 'on the grass coach'. He's focused on player development, tactics, winning football matches.

There's been a lot of drama, getting involved in transfers and money and the politics of the club. Now you've got a coach in Maresca, I see a steady Chelsea, a bit more settled.

  16. 'A special feeling'published at 17:19 British Summer Time 24 October

    Hearts v Omonia (17:45 BST)

    Tynecastle StadiumImage source, Getty Images

Hearts boss Neil Critchley says he is expecting a "real test" from Omonia Nicosia in his first taste of European competition, despite the Cypriot team's indifferent form.

The 4-0 home win over St Mirren in his first game in charge at the weekend lifted the Edinburgh club off the foot of the Scottish Premiership, with that only their second victory of the season after their Conference League opener at Dinamo Minsk.

Six points would put them in a strong position going into remaining games against Heidenheim, Cercle Brugge, Copenhagen and Petrocub.

"Managing against a team like Omonoia is one of the reasons why I came to this club, without a shadow of a doubt," said Critchley.

"We want to be a club that's in Europe and competing against the best. You see today, how the ground is being prepared, it feels different.

"There's a special feeling about it. I’m sure the supporters are excited."

Tributes are planned this evening at Panathinaikos for George Baldock, who passed away earlier this month at the age of 31.

The former Sheffield United defender joined the Greek club in the summer after seven years with the Blades.

This will be the first home Panathinaikos match since the announcement of Baldock's death and the players are currently warming up wearing his number 32.

You might call it a cup team. Maresca wants to see these players have time on the pitch and this is a perfect way of keeping them happy.

It's still a very strong side, let's be fair. You could put that out against any team in the Premier League and they're going to be in with a good chance.

I'm interested to see how Neto does and people like Fernandez...

Omonia are sixth in the Cypriot first division but have lost three of their last four league matches, prompting head coach Valdas Dambrauskas to issue an apology after Saturday's home defeat to Enosis.

Lithuanian head coach Valdas Dambrauskas says it is "really special" to lead a team at Tynecastle, having previously coached a number of former Hearts players, including late skipper Marius Zaliukas and Deividas Cesnauskis.

Several players from the country turned out for Hearts after Russian-Lithuanian Vladimir Romanov took control of the club in 2005.

"It's a really special moment to come here. I'm representing a great team from Cyprus but I'm also Lithuanian," Dambrauskas said.

"You know how much connections we Lithuanians have with Hearts. To be here is a really special moment coaching this game. Whenever you say you are playing Hearts the interest is there in Lithuania. Everybody says 'legendary Hearts'."

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca says he hopes to give Joao Felix "more minutes and more chances" after a frustrating start to the season for the Portugal forward.

Felix, 24, has yet to start a Premier League game since signing from Atletico Madrid for a fee in the region of £45m in August.

"Joao since he arrived is doing very well with us," said Maresca on Wednesday.

"He is doing fantastic. Everything I can say is good things. We have Joao but we have more players who are unfortunately not all playing.

"It's not because they are not doing well in the week. It's because the ones playing in this moment are doing very well. Joao just has to continue working in the way he is and hopefully we can give him more minutes and chances."

Chelsea, who host Newcastle in the Premier League on Sunday (14:00 GMT), won their opening game in the group phase of the Europa Conference League 4-2 against Gent.
