Right then, that's all from us on another eventful night of Europa League and Europa Conference League action.

Chelsea, Rangers and Shamrock Rovers all hit four goals in big wins, TNS made history as Tottenham and Hearts also celebrated victories - but Manchester United had to settle for a third successive European draw.

And, of course, Jose Mourinho stole the headlines once again.

Here's a reminder of all tonight's results - with links to the reports.

I think the performance was basically okay.

You can build on what Ten Hag said and say look they've been to Porto and drawn, in quite chaotic circumstances, they've been to Fenerbahce and drawn but the overall picture, for Manchester United, it's not enough to be hard to beat.

That's not what they're in it for.

  3. 'I'm ready to go!'published at 22:58 British Summer Time 24 October

Just about got time to squeeze in some more Jose Mourinho quotes which are dropping.

"The best thing I have to do is when I leave Fenerbahce, I go to a club that doesn’t play in Uefa competition," he says when asked about his red card.

"So a club at the bottom in England who needs a coach in two years, I’m ready to go. I don’t want to speak any more about it. If I appeal [the red card] I will get six months."

  4. 'We deserve to be playing at this level'published at 22:55 British Summer Time 24 October

    FT: TNS 2-0 Astana

TNS manager Craig Harrison speaking to TNT Sports:

"It's got to be [best night in TNS history]. Qualifying to this stage was special and tonight getting our first win at this stage of the competition it's a dream come true. I'm so proud of everyone involved at the club.

"We didn't start very well. For whatever reason. We didn't quite do what the game plan was. They had a lot of possession. We didn't need to go chasing the ball we tried to play on the counter. We got the first half hour out of the way and then we made some great opportunities. I think it was a stonewall penalty in the first half as well and not sure how the keeper was still on the pitch.

"Psychologically we needed that second goal. We didn't want to hang on and get to 90 minutes at 1-0. You're asking for trouble then. If there's anyone at the club who I wanted to take a penalty it's Declan McManus he's top draw in those circumstances.

"It gives us a platform to work on. We went to Fiorentina and built a defensive platform there. We used that tonight and the back four and keeper tonight were fantastic. Another clean sheet at home. The lads have done really well there. We do deserve to be here and we can win at this level."

On whether TNS could qualify: "Let's not get carried away. If we get six points with a couple of games left then we can believe we can qualify. I think seven and a good goal difference could be enough. Big teams got beat by four or five on match day one. If we can get another win and not concede many then we're in with a chance."

  5. 'Jose's realised he's gone overboard'published at 22:54 British Summer Time 24 October

    FT: Fenerbahce 1-1 Man Utd

    Rory Smith
Chief Soccer Correspondent for The New York Times, on TNT Sports

Mourinho's answer in the interview kind of shows he has watched [the penalty] back and realised that he maybe went a little bit overboard but he's not going to admit that.

  6. 'It was always going to be a spicy tie'published at 22:53 British Summer Time 24 October

Manchester United have got to figure out how to continue to dominate in Europe, dominate in the Premier League as well.

It was always going to be a spicy tie but yeah, Manchester United have still got challenges.

  7. 'Not a bad point'published at 22:52 British Summer Time 24 October

    FT: Fenerbahce 1-1 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag: "Two tough away games. Of course when you are taking the lead, it [drawing] shouldn’t happen, we had chances to make a second goal. Disappointed not to win. At Old Trafford we have to win games."

Was that Manuel Ugarte's best performance for United so far? "Yes, I think so. He has to come into the team. The six role is very important. He has to learn how we play. I was happy with his performance today.

Why no Amad Diallo from the start: "Away from Europe to start with four attackers is too much. I made him (Mazraoui) a full-back. He was always a number 10. I knew he could fill in with that role, He had a big role in the goal. You can always move him back. Antony is training very good. Amad had some good actions."

On the result: "Fenerbahce are a very good club, with very good fans and some good players. It would be a very good final. We should keep the ball better in the first half. We should score more goals but to be honest they also created good chances. They gave us some problems. They are a good team with a good manager. It is not a bad point. But we want to win. We want to win every game."

Every club, they love a homegrown, don't they? They love to see someone come through the ranks, make it into the first team and [the fans] will get behind him, week in and week out.

They'll be talking about him in the pubs and the bars now. It will be about Mikey Moore.

  9. 'Moore's performance is exciting for the club'published at 22:48 British Summer Time 24 October

    Tottenham Hotspur

    Ange PostecoglouImage source, Getty Images

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou speaking to TNT Sports: "For the most part I thought we did OK, could probably add a couple more goals but overall considering the context of all the changes I thought we did OK."

On his half-time change, replacing Timo Werner for Brennan Johnson: "Timo was getting in good areas but he is obviously low on confidence. With Brennan on the bench I thought it was a good time to get him on and put Mikey [Moore] on the left, he's more comfortable out there.

On Mikey Moore's performance: "Yeah it's exciting. Every challenge we throw to him he thrives on. He's a great kid, working hard every day, and its exciting for us and the football club."

On James Maddison giving the penalty to Richarlison after a discussion: "As long as they score mate I couldn't care less. As long as they work that out."

On their performances in Europe so far: "You can only face what is in front of you and that is what we have done so far. Three wins is a decent start and we will be ready for the next challenge."

Rangers winger Vaclav Cerny, speaking to TNT Sports: "We all needed it. We owed the fans a good result and a quality game. Which I think we did. A dominant first half. A little lucky in the beginning but it turned good. A very strong performance, which we needed.

"You have got to have the fire and the will every single time. This is a big stage. And we, as a team, we needed a big win. It's always good to be on the scoresheet but that's not the most important thing.

"The game (on Sunday) was tough. Coming back from international games, no excuse at all. We just wanted to bring the good atmosphere back, which I hope we did."

In real time, it looks like there's a lot of contact [on Osayi].

I don't want to say it's a brilliant dive, but when you see it from another angle, you can tell there's no contact whatsoever.

Ugarte pulls out so there's no way that's going to be a penalty.

That [Jose Mourinho interview] was better than the game, wasn't it?

It looks like he's got his mischievous [side] back about him, it was good to see that version of Jose than the one we saw at United a few years ago that wasn't that great.

He knows it's not a penalty but the explanation of the referee was brilliant.

    FT: Fenerbahce 1-1 Man Utd

    Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho, speaking to TNT Sports on his sending off: "I don't want to speak about it. [After the match] the referee told me something incredible. He said at the same time he could see the action in the box and my behaviour on the touchline. I congratulate him because he is absolutely incredible. During the game, 100 miles per hour, he had one eye on the penalty situation and one eye on my behaviour on the bench.

"That is why he is the one of the best referees in the world!"

On the result: "They got a point against us, not us against them. We played amazing. If we play like this in the Turkish league we destroy everything because of course we played against a team with superior level than us. The Premier League has more quality, more intensity and more everything.

"I think my boys did an amazing match. Probably in England people will speak of two or three players for Manchester United who did not play, you do not know how many of us didn't play. At the start we had four players out of the list, and we had injuries. We had to do a crazy puzzle. Our performance was extraordinary. I could not ask any more from the players.

"Andre Onana made two fantastic saves. They scored in a situation we knew they could. We had a phenomenal performance.

"Come on, he saved the result. My goalkeeper didn't make a save, he made two impossible saves in 10 seconds. He was the most decisive player in the result. Of course he didn't make 20 saves but he made two that were incredible."

"I know English media will say Manchester United didn't play well but I think it would be fair to say we did an extraordinary match and we were better than them. A good result for Manchester United."

Re. Andrew at 21:50 - I wouldn't categorise it as sensational. Manchester United have underperformed massively and a lot of the players are unreliable, if not, they're injured. The equation is simple - trim off the fat, continue with the promising young ones, and sign players like Ugarte (key block tonight) in key positions. We can't be "rebuilding" for 11 years.

    James, Croydon

Re. Andrew at 21:50 - I agree with Andrew about Man Utd fans entitlement, but didn't Mourinho win two trophies too? The never ending "rebuild " at Old Trafford since Ferguson left is a joy to behold for opposing fans.

  17. 'Big disappointment'published at 22:32 British Summer Time 24 October

    FT: Fenerbahce 1-1 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana, speaking to TNT Sports: “It is a big disappointment for me and the fans, for the club, as a Manchester United player you have an obligation to try to win. It is what we tried to do today, but we also have to recognise it is a tough place to win.

"We didn’t win, but at least we didn’t lose, Not happy of course, but we move on, take responsibility and go again.

“We had more control than them in the second half and more chances. We conceded an early goal in the second half, we had to show character and I think that is what we did. We didn’t win but I thought we were better than them."

On his superb double save: “The saves are not important, the most important thing is the victory for the team. It is nice if I make those kinds of saves and the team wins. It is a big disappointment.”

Man Utd are a far cry from Wednesday nights at the Camp Nou where the players had passion. The United 'never say die attitude' to games has long gone. Overpriced and overrated players with inflated egos. They need to go and reset the squad with some academy prospects and build on that instead of spending billions to sit mid-table.

  19. Moore to come...published at 22:28 British Summer Time 24 October

    FT: Tottenham 1-0 AZ Alkmaar

Three wins from three for Spurs in Europe this season as they chase a first trophy since 2008.

But there was more than just victory over AZ Alkmaar to celebrate this evening, as 17-year-old Mikey Moore shone on his full home debut.

So much so that team-mate James Maddison said he "thought we had Neymar on the left wing".

A player with a very bright future ahead.
