    Solihull Moors have signed striker Jacob Wakeling in a permanent move from Peterborough United.

    Wakeling only managed eight appearances in two years with Posh and spent last season on loan at Gillingham in League Two.

    He made his debut for Moors in the 1-0 defeat to Yeovil Town on Tuesday.

    Wealdstone have extended the loan of Leyton Orient defender Phillip Chinedu for a further month.

    The 18-year-old has made two starts for the National League club this season and four more appearances as a substitute.

    Woking have signed AFC Wimbledon forward Josh Kelly on a season-long loan deal.

    Kelly, 26, has made 71 appearances for Johnnie Jackson's side since joining the club from Solihull Moors in February 2024, scoring five goals.

    He helped the team to promotion from League Two last season and has played three times in League One during this campaign.

    Kelly also played under current Woking boss Neal Ardley during the manager's time at Solihull.

    Aldershot Town have signed Brighton and Hove Albion defender Charlie Penman on a season-long loan.

    Penman, 19, joined the Seagulls from Blackburn Rovers in 2021 and has been a regular in the Premier League club's under-21 side.

    The Shots have also loaned 22-year-old midfielder Keane Anderson to National League South side Torquay United for a month.

    Carlisle United have brought in midfielder Alex Gilliead on loan from League Two side Shrewsbury Town.

    Gilliead's loan deal runs until 11 January.

    The 29-year-old spent a season on loan at Brunton Park from Newcastle United a decade ago as a teenager, playing 41 games and scoring five goals.

    "We are delighted to finally secure one of our top targets in Alex Gilliead," Carlisle's head of football operations Marc Tierney told the club website., external

    "He was identified early in the window, and we've been monitoring his situation closely."

    Morecambe have brought in Belgian forward Josh Eppiah from Brazilian side Amazonas and winger Tom Tweedy from Premier League club Burnley.

    Eppiah, 26, was on Leicester City's books as a youth and had two loan spells at Northampton Town in 2022 and 2023.

    He joins the National League side on a permanent transfer, though the length of his deal has not been disclosed.

    Tweedy, who started his career at Cymru Premier League side Penybont in Wales, before linking up with Burnley's under-21 side, arrives on a season-long loan.

    Boreham Wood have brought in former Burnley striker Lewis Richardson on a two-year deal and West Ham United goalkeeper Finlay Herrick on a season-long loan.

    Richardson made two appearances for the Clarets in the Premier League in 2021 and left the club at the end of last season.

    The 22-year-old also scored four goals in 14 games during a loan spell in the National League with York City last season.

    Herrick, 19, has been with the Hammers since the age of six and was part of England's squad for European Under-19 Championship in June.

    Solihull Moors have signed free agent Emmanuel Sonupe on a short-term contract until the end of the month.

    Sonupe, 29, came through the Tottenham Hotspur academy and had a loan spell with Scottish Premiership side St Mirren before joining Northampton Town in 2016.

    The former England Under-16 and Under-18 winger went on to play for Kidderminster, Stevenage, Yeovil and Dartford.

    He then had spells overseas in the United States, with El Paso Locomotive, and most recently in the UAE with Masafi and Precision Football.
