Racing Bulls bring in Isack Hadjar for a change of rubber but Oscar Piastri is yet to come for his pit stop. That's about to change, however. And he'll serve his penalty at the same time.
From pit lane to a podium is the target for Max Verstappen in Sao Paulo. The Dutchman is now eighth on the road and he's battling Pierre Gasly for seventh. The Alpine driver is swatting away the Red Bull's attack. For now...
Oscar Piastri leads but he's got a 10-second time penalty hanging around his gearbox. McLaren team-mate Lando Norris is up to second and will take control back when the Australian makes his first stop. Kimi Antonelli is third and Oliver Bearman has climbed to fourth.
Red Bull and Mercedes are ready for their drivers to come into the pits. Max Verstappen completes his second stop and dumps one set of mediums for another. George Russell does the opposite and opts for the softs.
Verstappen is now 12th (and quickest) and Russell is sixth.
That was a straightforward sweep through on the Red Bull at the beginning of lap 33 for Lando Norris. Max Verstappen doesn't fight the McLaren and he drops back to fourth, Norris back up into the podiun places.
There are 40 laps to go and McLaren have put a set of soft tyres on [Lando Norris' car]. They were struggling to get 26 laps out of them in the sprint, now I think Norris might be doing a two-stop.
Is this looking like a two-stop race for the front-runners? Max Verstappen is consistently banking fastest laps on his medium rubber, as the McLaren of Lando Norris closes in on his soft compound.
Lando Norris has been called in for a change of tyres. The championship leader swaps from mediums to softs and comes out behind the Red Bull of Max Verstappen, who has already made a pit stop in this race.
Oscar Piastri now leads followed by George Russell's Mercedes.

Pierre Gasly and Isack Hadjar are having a good scrap at Interlagos. Gasly got the better of his countryman first but the Racing Bulls rookie, driving here for the first time, is back ahead in 12th place.
Only Oliver Bearman and Kimi Antonelli have made pit stops out of the top 10 drivers, the rest are hurtling around Interlagos on medium tyres - except Fernado Alonso on his hards.
