    With the tarmac as slippery as an ice rink, plenty of cars are running wide and having to cut the corners and rejoin the track. Carlos Sainz flags to his pit wall that this could be a potential issue if drivers aren't aware of what's around them.

    Haas have decided to call in Kevin Magnussen to change those wet tyres to the intermediates, but it's a slow stop which lasts eight seconds - possibly the decision of the Dane rather than the team - and he rejoins the action in 14th place on intermediates.

    We've been hearing team bosses and engineers say that the wet tyre is better when there is a lot of standing water on the track, as soon as it isn't the intermediate is quicker.

    Daniel Ricciardo is hanging on to the coat tails of the top 10 in ninth place after his fifth in qualifying yesterday. Charles Leclerc's engineer is back on the blower to say the drivers on inters are now starting to go faster than those runners on the wets.

    Yellow flag in sector two! Logan Sargeant needs the escape road to reverse his Williams and get back onto the track. Green flag, on you go.
