Quite amazing we didn't see one drop of rain in that race. Oscar Piastri gives his girlfriend Lily a big hug and then McLaren CEO Zak Brown a firm handshake. Brown calls Lando Norris over for a photo. That'll be up on social media in a few minutes, I bet.

Lando Norris did a very fine job of closing the gap to Oscar Piastri and getting ahead of Max Verstappen finally as well and also putting some pressure on his team-mate.

Piastri had it under control by the looks of things the whole way, it was a pretty much faultless performance.

Steady on. Carlos Sainz decides to attempt the jump on Lewis Hamilton for eighth place. The two are battling and get too close for comfort heading towards the chequered flag. Hamilton stays in eighth and Sainz has to stay put in ninth.

I don't want to put cold water on this race but it's still a four-second gap between Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris. It looks like the job is done, Piastri has done a fantastic job at the front.

Yuki Tsunoda is carrying a five-second time penalty for speeding in the pit lane but luckily for him, he's currently just over five seconds ahead of the Racing Bulls of Isack Hadjar in 11th, so he'll stay in that final points positions.

The Miami debrief is going to be a long one at Ferrari. Both drivers sound pretty fed up with how things have played out today, so it'll be interesting to hear the different perspectives.

This has all become very confusing at Ferrari. The switch is finally made and Charles Leclerc takes off to try and catch Kimi Antonelli. Lewis Hamilton is then told the whereabouts of Carlos Sainz in ninth. "Do you want me to let him past as well?" says the seven-time world champion.

  18. Team radio - Leclercpublished at 22:26 British Summer Time 4 May

Leclerc: "Are we coming back on Antonelli?"

Engineer: "We are, but quite slowly, how much faster could you go in free air?"

Leclerc: "I have no idea, I am now overheating."

Charles Leclerc is questioning if Ferrari are getting closer to Kimi Antonelli. "Slowly," comes the reply. It looks like the Italian team are going to swap Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton once again and give the Monegasque driver a chance at attacking the Mercedes.
