  1. Postpublished at 18:35 British Summer Time 25 August

    Korda -6 (16)

Nelly Korda does very well to get it out of the bunker. She now has a 15-footer for par. Talk about pressure.

  2. Ko sets up big birdie chance down lastpublished at 18:35 British Summer Time 25 August

    Ko -6 (17)

Lydia Ko is walking down the 18th fairway deep in conversation with playing partner Alexa Pano like she's out on a Tuesday morning knockabout.

She reaches her ball in the middle of the fairway and studies the yardage book with her caddie. The club is selected. The wind has been monitored. The rain looks to have abated.

But first it's Alexa Pano. We've barely seen the American, who is at one under and is chasing a Solheim Cup pick. She finds the centre of the green.

Right Lydia, what you got? It's no more than half a wedge. Oh wow. It's Fab. U. Lous. Straight at the pin. Bounces a yard past, grabs the green and finishes six feet from the hole.

  3. Korda finds bunkerpublished at 18:32 British Summer Time 25 August

    Korda -6 (16)

Disaster for Nelly Korda as her second shot on the 17th goes into the bunker. And it doesn't look nice in there, can she even get a full swing at it?

Maybe six under will be enough.

  4. Par for Kordapublished at 18:28 British Summer Time 25 August

    Korda -6 (16)

Nelly Korda is unable to nestle her 12-footer into the hole. Pars rather than birdies seem like dropped shots with holes disappearing.

That was as big a chance as you will get.

  5. Par for Kopublished at 18:25 British Summer Time 25 August

    Ko -6 (17)

Lydia Ko on the 17th. Birdie putt. Fails to threaten the hole. But, that could turn into a crucial par. The tough hole has gone. Just the straightforward birdie opportunity of the 18th to come.

  6. Vu lips out for birdiepublished at 18:25 British Summer Time 25 August

    Shin -6, Vu -6 (14)

Oh no! Jiyai Shin tries to bend her putt up the hill and back down, instead it ends up 15 feet away from the hole.

Lilia Vu then lips out to go to seven under! This is crazy stuff.

  7. Play-off rules?published at 18:24 British Summer Time 25 August

Just in case we need one, the play-off is simple... the players will play the 18th hole until we have a winner.

  8. Ko in prime spotpublished at 18:19 British Summer Time 25 August

    Ko -6 (16)

Lydia Ko has safely found the fairway on the dog-leg 17th and is out with a hybrid, firing a low one through the wind, rain and general gloom that has descended on St Andrews.

Oh, it's a spectacular effort, skipping up the front, skirting the Road Hole bunker and coming to rest 15 feet from the hole.

  9. Postpublished at 18:18 British Summer Time 25 August

    Korda -6 (15)

What did I say about Nelly Korda? She has given herself a huge birdie opportunity on the 16th. What a shot, it'll be a 12-footer for birdie.

  10. Postpublished at 18:17 British Summer Time 25 August

The rain is now coming down hard. What a time for the heavens to open! It is bucketing it down.

  11. Clubhouse target set at five underpublished at 18:16 British Summer Time 25 August

    Ruoning -5 (70)

Over to you Roaning Yin. Great drive down the 18th. Wedge to the green. The ball is straight at the flag, but a little strong. It lands six yards beyond the cup, grabs a little and she'll have a 20-footer to make it a five-way tie for the lead.

The rain starts to pour down. The ball is on it's way. A good line... but again the pace is lacking... the ball pulls up a foot short. A look to the heavens... she knows she's had two great opportunities on the final two holes.

She now needs four people to drop shots but the weather is going to make this finish tricky for those still out there.

  12. Korda settles back down with parpublished at 18:15 British Summer Time 25 August

    Korda -6 (15)

After a difficult hole, Nelly Korda cleans up her par and steadies the ship. If anyone can pull out a birdie up the final stretch it is Nelly...

  13. Vu joins leaderspublished at 18:12 British Summer Time 25 August

    Shin -6, Vu -6 (14)

A massive putt from Jiyai Shin, with the ball swinging into the cup. Those six-footers at this stage of a major always seem longer.

Meanwhile, Lilia Vu nails her one for birdie and jumps into the four-way lead.

  14. Postpublished at 18:11 British Summer Time 25 August

    Ko -6 (16)

Back on 16 and Lydia Ko tidies up for her par. She stays in a tie for the lead. Is the Road Hole going to decide the Championship?

  15. Woad seals silver medalpublished at 18:10 British Summer Time 25 August

    Woad -1 (73)

Back to 18 where Lottie Woad is standing over her birdie putt. It's one we've seen dozens of time. The left-to-right slider down the hill. And Woad has judged that to perfection.

Birdie finish. Sensational for our silver medal winner. It's a one-over 73 but she won't care a jot about that.

  16. Big miss on 17published at 18:08 British Summer Time 25 August

    Ruoning -5 (17)

Up on 17 and Ruoning Yin is over her birdie putt. It's a curler. Right-to-left. She's got the line. Does she have the pace? No! Oh wow. Ruoning can't quite believe that ball has not dropped. She puts her hand over her mouth in disbelief.

Par. One off the lead. One to play.

  17. Postpublished at 18:07 British Summer Time 25 August

    Korda -6 (14)

Nelly Korda has ballooned her approach out right. It leaves another mega-putt, it could have been worse, but she isn't in control like she was not long ago.

  18. Postpublished at 18:06 British Summer Time 25 August

    Ko -6 (15)

Lydia Ko is having a bit of a scruffy finish here. She was short and in sand on 15 and now she's long in the rough off the back of the 16th. But that's a super third, into a couple of feet and that should be a par.

  19. Postpublished at 18:05 British Summer Time 25 August

    Woad E (17)

The stand behind the back of the 18th green is full, the road down the right of the fairway is packed with spectators, there are dozens more leaning out of windows. They are all watching and whooping as Lottie Woad zips her second shot into eight feet and this is going to be a very enjoyable walk up to the green for our low amateur.

  20. Postpublished at 18:03 British Summer Time 25 August

    Ruoning -5 (16)

Ruoning Yin started off the week in the lead, is she going to finish it in the same position? The Shanghai superstar follows a steady drive down 17 with a pin-seeker second that leaves her with a 15-footer to move into a share of the lead.
