  1. Spaun doubles lead

    Not sure what the big Austrian did off the tee there but he made a mess of a chip from the jungle and picked up to concede the hole to JJ Spaun.

    He goes two up and this is getting very, very twitchy.

  2. Thomas A/S Fleetwood (17)

    Tommy Fleetwood finds the fairway on 18 and then also hits the green, albeit a bit short around 20 feet away.

    Justin Thomas in the right rough but that helps with taking off the spin and his effort dances down to only about 15 feet or so on a similar line.

    Again the putters will decide a crucial point in what is now a thrilling Ryder Cup Sunday.

  3. Lowry goes one down

    Russell Henley has had a miserable week, but he rolls in a putt for the win on the 13th.

    There is now so much red on the leaderboard and everywhere you look a the moment it is a poor shot by a European.

  4. DeChambeau v Fitzpatrick 1UP (16)

    Bryson DeChambeau is on the dance floor off the tee. So it is imperative that Matt Fitzpatrick does the same on the par-three 17th.

    And he doesn't quite. He instead find the fringe at the back. A tough putt awaits the Englishman.

    All eyes on Matt Fitzpatrick at the moment.

    Europe could do with him clinging on here, just to stave off the red wave.

  6. Scheffler stays ahead

    Long two-putt for Rory McIlroy on 16.

    He does just that, with the shortest of second putts we have seen asked for all week.

    Ludvig Aberg gets a half on 15 and he stays two up with three to play against Patrick Cantlay. Europe could really, really do with him hanging on to that lead.

    Maybe they do believe! The home crowd erupts when Young sticks away his winning putt.

    The New Yorker is immediately pounced on by his partner, then US vice-captain Webb Simpson also offers a big hug.

    Some of the US support team link arms and jig around in a celebratory circle.

    Then a chant starts…

    "I believe. I believe! I believe we will win…" says Bethpage.

  10. Fitzpatrick clings onto narrow lead

    Oh my. How did that not drop. Bryson DeChambeau's putt swings from left to right and burns the edge of the cup as it slips past.

    England's Matt Fitzpatrick has the chance to secure at least half a point but comes up shy of the cup.

    That was an absolutely fantastic win for Cam Young sent out by Keegan Bradley as captain in the first place.

    Leading his team out, Ryder Cup rookie, youngest player in the team and he gets his point.

  12. Hit it Tommy!

    Tommy Fleetwood puts his hands on his knees and sinks low in disappointment as he leaves his birdie putt on 17 short!

    That was for the win and a guaranteed half, and right now Europe need all the help they can get.

    Cameron Young sinks his putt and wins a full point in the most dramatic fashion against Justin Rose.

    "USA, USA" rings out around the 18th green and that noise will travel all over the property at Bethpage Black.

    The comeback is on!

    Collin Morikawa ekes out a small advantage over Tyrrell Hatton on the 11th green. This match could go the distance.

    The big Austrian! He CAN putt.

    Gets it back to one down at the 13th.
