    The final race of the week for amateur riders and after narrowly missing out on Thursday with Johnnywho, Derek O’Connor will be looking to go one better with It’s On The Line.

    The Emmet Mullins trained horse was second both in 2023 and 24 and although his last two runs haven’t been the best, he has the ability.

    The 2023 Kim Muir winner Angels Dawn could be a big challenge with two wins to her credit this season for trainer Sam Curling

    One to watch could be Lift Me Up, owned by former Spice Girl Geri Horner and her husband Christian, the Red Bull Formula One team principal. The horse will be ridden by jockey Jack Andrews, who at 6ft 4in towers above his rivals.

    A statement from Cheltenham: "In our fifth race of the day, Corbetts Cross was immediately attended to by our veterinary professionals, but sadly sustained a fatal injury. Our heartfelt condolences are with his connections."
