Amid the rush towards the end of that race, Corbetts Cross took a very heavy fall over the final fence.

ITV Racing are reporting that he and the other faller, Ahoy Senor, are up OK, but we will aim to confirm that as soon as we can.

    A stunner!

It looked like Galopin Des Champs had that in hand, after a rough first half of the race he really got going. But Inothewayurthinkin kept its powder dry, and from the last fence onwards there was only one winner.

Inothewayurthinkin was favourite for the Grand National before this race. What price now?

He takes the lead over the last!

    Ahoy Senor, the leader, falls!

And it hampers Galopin Des Champs! Paul Townend keeps his ride steady, but could that have an impact?

The sole grey in this race, Gentlemansgame, is still keeping a good pace.

Outsider Royale Pagaille is being left behind.

Paul Townend is very much playing the percentages on Galopin. He's into a nice enough rhythm.

Galopin Des Champs is still being held towards the outside of the runners, Paul Townsend giving him plenty of space away from the crowd.

Ahoy Senor still leads, roared by the crowd as they pass the grandstand.

Galopin Des Champs seemed to take off a long way off that fence. His rhythm to me doesn't look that great on this good ground.

The two most fancied horses, Galopin Des Champs and Banbridge, are sitting in midfield.

Monty's Star nearly unseats his rider, Rachael Blackmore does well to hang on.

They swing in front of the massed grandstands and power away.

I am sticking with Banbridge. The ground is a massive key for me. Galopin hasn't had this ground. If he comes up the hill and is in the lead then I'll be cheering him on but Banbridge stays the trip for me.
