While the country has been dissecting Roy Hodgson's World Cup squad, Manchester has been getting ready to host a title party. There are blue skies above the city as Manchester City's players prepare for an open top bus parade to celebrate their Premier League success. It's already been a day to remember for City duo Joe Hart and James Milner after being confirmed as part of Hodgson's plans for Brazil. Now they're planning to paint Manchester blue.

England manager Roy Hodgson on only six of his squad having been to a previous World Cup: "It's like everything else, if you don't have experience, how do you get experience? You get it by being given the opportunity.

"Those six who have been there before, once upon a time they didn't have experience either. It is a catch 22 situation.

"The balance of the squad is still quite good. It would be wrong to focus totally on those that are young and less experienced."
