    Just a reminder, there is full match commentary of Scotland v Nigeria at 20:00 BST from Craven Cottage.

    After the daily news round-up at 19:00 BST and post-match, BBC 5 live will be focusing on the five African nations taking part in Brazil - Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Algeria and Nigeria.

    And the station will also be live in Cape Town and Abidjan to try and work out which country will go the furthest in the World Cup and to see if there are any players waiting to burst on the scene that could make a move to the Premier League.

    Striker Olivier Giroud admits a lack of maturity meant Arsenal "cracked" as the title race started to heat up.

    Burnley defender Daniel Lafferty signs a new three-year contract.

    Lafferty, 25, was one of four out-of-contract players offered new deals at the end of the season and he is the first of the quartet to agree terms.

    The Northern Ireland international played just 12 times in all competitions for the Clarets last season as Sean Dyche's side won promotion to the Premier League. Michael Duff, Junior Stanislas and Luke O'Neill are also considering offers.

    New Zealand coach Steve Hansen says the Test series against England should not have been scheduled for June.

    England will face the All Blacks in the first Test in Auckland on 7 June without their Saracens and Northampton players, who feature in the Aviva Premiership final the week before.

    Hansen thinks the three-Test series should have been postponed to ensure England could select their top players.

    Former Saints forward Matt Le Tissier doubts that Mauricio Pochettino has made the right decision in quitting Southampton for Tottenham.

    The former Saints forward said: ""I probably wouldn't have made the same move, to be honest. I think in his position, his stock is very high. I would have maybe would have waited for a different club.

    "The managers in the last few years at Spurs have not been given a fair crack of the whip and the pressure is on there.

    "If he is not in the top four by Christmas, he will be under pressure. It is not a club that I would have said was the best one he could have maybe done for his career prospects."

    The hard-hitting 26-year-old agrees a three-year contract with Shaun Wane's side, with Wigan saying that his performance against them earlier this season brought him to their attention.

    Jonny Wilkinson is set to be added to Toulon's coaching staff next season, according to French daily newspaper La Provence.

    The fly-half is set to end his 17-year playing career this weekend, following Toulon's clash with Castres in the Top 14 play-off final.

    But the French side's coach Bernard Laporte is keen to bring the 35-year-old World Cup winner Wilkinson onto his staff.

    "A person of his stature will undoubtedly bring something more in the frame, it is obvious," he said. "He will not necessarily travel with the team all the time because he wants to take a step back at weekends."

    Cardiff City complete the signing of striker Adam Le Fondre from Championship rivals Reading.

    Le Fondre, 27, scored 15 league goals this season and had a year remaining on his contract with the Royals.

    The forward becomes Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's fourth signing of the summer so far, joining Austrian midfielder Guido Burgstaller, Spanish striker Javi Guerra and former Manchester United forward Frederico Macheda at the club.

    Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon lists Brazil, Argentina, Spain and Germany as favourites to win the World Cup in Brazil.

    "If we get to the quarter-finals or further, it will have been a positive World Cup," the 36-year-old said

    "We have a mature team which knows its own limitation and, because of this, we are a dependable side who win the matches we are expected to win.

    Somerset maintain their unbeaten start to the County Championship season as the Division One match against Warwickshire at Edgbaston endsin a rain-affected draw.

    No play was possible on Wednesday in a match which had seen overs lost on all four days due to rain and Warwickshire never got the chance to add to their 294 for five in response to Somerset's first-innings 411.

    Both sides ended the match with nine points.
