    Burnley boss Sean Dyche is nicknamed "the Ginger Mourinho" by Clarets fans after he masterminded their climb to the Premier League. Tonight, he has the chance to pit his tactical nous against the real thing when Jose brings his Chelsea boys to town.

    But Dyche has rubbished any comparisons: "It's for you all to make headlines, it doesn't interest me.

    "We'll hopefully have a chat after the game and I'll pick his brains, but that's it. It's just two blokes who want their team to win."

    Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says he is unsure whether Argentina winger Angel di Maria wants to stay with the European champions.

    Di Maria has been linked with a big-money move to Manchester United, but Ancelotti gave little away as he focuses on Tuesday's Spanish Super Cup tie against Atletico Madrid.

    "I don't know what Di Maria has decided," says the Italian. "But I know that he's training and that he could help us in tomorrow's match.

    "Until 31 August it will continue the same way and after that everything will be cleared up and things will return to normal."

    French club Bastia say they are not punishing striker Brandao after he headbutted Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Thiago Motta at the end of their Ligue 1 match.

    In a statement released on Monday, Bastia added they will leave any decision up to sanction Brandao up to French Football Federation bosses.

    Fiorentina head coach Vincenzo Montella is confident Colombia winger Juan Cuadrado will remain with the Serie A club this season.

    The 26-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United or Barcelona after an impressive World Cup.

    "I have never thought of losing Juan," Montella is reported as saying in Italian newspaper La Nazione. "He's been here in the past, he is here now and he will be here in the future. I don't think about how his story might finish."

    Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was famously criticised for "parking the bus" against Liverpool last season. Now, the Portuguese boss has been teaching his side how to shift an opposition bus blocking their route to goal.

    Mourinho says his side have been practising breaking down defensive-minded teams in preparation for the Premier League season.

    "When you don't have space and time to play, you need more quality," he says. "We have worked on that in training, expecting a team to be defensive and try to close every road to goal."

    "Among those facing the media is British discus thrower Dan Greaves who has already had a successful summer after winning gold in his Para-sport event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

    "The 31-year-old, known as Discus Dan, will be in action on Friday in the F44 discus final and wants another medal to add to his collection.

    "He tells BBC Sport: 'The Commonwealth Games was Part A, this is part B and I want to get the job done. The crowd really got behind us at the Commonwealth Games and appreciated what we were doing and I'm sure it will be the same here.'"

    Crystal Palace are fined an undisclosed amount by the Premier League after breaching rule B.16, the maximum penalty for which is £25,000.

    It follows a complaint from Cardiff in April, which said their 3-0 defeat against the Eagles should not have stood because Palace were allegedly trying to obtain their starting line-up before the game.

    A loan move from Chelsea to Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem is a well-trodden path - and now it is Josh McEachran's turn to head over the North Sea.

    The midfielder, 21, has joined the Eredivisie club, which has close links with the Blues, on a season-long loan.

    McEachran, who has previously been loaned to Swansea, Middlesbrough, Watford and Wigan, will link up with two other Chelsea players - Bertrand Traore and Wallace - in the Netherlands.
