    Everton and West Ham United have been charged by The FA following their game on 22 November 2014.

    It is alleged that in or around the 40th minute of the fixture, both clubs failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

    The clubs have until 6pm on 1 December 2014 to respond to the charge.

    Reid, the world number three, was beaten 5-7 7-5 7-5 by Belgium's Joachim Gerard, ranked two places below him, in a tight encounter.

    "The 1992 champion Jimmy White received a great reception from the crowd and he responded with a fist pump when introduced for his first-round match against Dave Harold and has just hit a century to go 4-2 up.

    "Tony Drago is 4-3 up on two-time ranking event winner Dominic Dale and Steve Davis, who won six World titles in the 1980s, in his action against Ricky Walden this evening."

    Robert Milkins revealed he is struggling with a vision problem following his 6-0 thrashing of Michael Leslie in the UK Championship first round in York.

    The world number 16 made three 50-plus breaks, but said: "I've got something in my eye so my long game was a bit blurry. I felt OK in the balls, but couldn't do anything with my long game."

    He added: "I don't tend to go to the doctors, just like any other bloke I suppose. I'll see what I've got in the medicine cupboard at home. Hopefully it will be sorted by the weekend."

    Exciting Hong Kong-born, Australia-bred batsman Sam Hain, 19, has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal, while former Ireland international fast bowler Boyd Rankin, 30, who switched to England in 2012, has signed a new three-year contract.

    Bears director of cricket Dougie Brown said: "Both Boyd and Sam made important contributions to our success in 2014 and will be key for our push for more silverware in 2015 and beyond.

    "Boyd's pace and bounce make him one of the most feared bowlers on the county circuit and, at his best, he is a match for any batsman in the world. Sam took his opportunity in first-class cricket last season and is now one of the most exciting prospects in the country."

    "Amelie Mauresmo remains as head coach, but her assistant Dani Vallverdu (pictured above left) - who has been with Murray for the past five years - and fitness trainer Jez Green will no longer travel with him.

    The Serious Fraud Office wants anyone with information regarding alleged corruption in the bidding for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to come forward.

    The SFO insists it currently lacks the relevant jurisdiction to investigate.

    But in a letter to Conservative MP Damian Collins, seen by BBC Sport, the SFO's general counsel Alun Milford admits the organisation is appealing for "whistleblowers" to get in contact.

    The development creates the possibility of Fifa facing a UK criminal probe.

    The last thing Brendan Rodgers needs is for former Liverpool players to be cranking up the pressure on him, but that is just what the Reds boss has got.

    Jean-Eric Vergne has been dropped by Red Bull junior team Toro Rosso for 2015, the Frenchman has announced.

    Vergne, 23, had hoped the team might find a place for him following the promotion of Daniil Kvyat to Red Bull to replace Ferrari-bound Sebastian Vettel.

    But he said on Twitter:, external "Despite a good season and 22 points, I'll not drive any more for Toro Rosso in 2015."
