    Crystal Palace complete the signing of Lille full-back Pape Souare - who played for Senegal in the Africa Nations Cup.

    Eagles chairman Steve Parish announced the deal on his Twitter feed,, external saying: "Delighted that @papesouare has just this minute signed for #cpfc . A warm welcome from all of us".

    Souare, 24, becomes Alan Pardew's third signing of the week after the arrivals of Jordon Mutch and Shola Amoebi. Busy, busy, busy.

    Drama in this evening's Championship match between Bournemouth and Watford.

    Watford's Gabriele Angella has been shown a red card for a tackle on the hosts' Callum Wilson and it is fair to say the visitors are not happy.

    It is very difficult to see how that is a straight red card.

    Great opportunity for league leaders Bournemouth to stretch their advantage though.

    Another Premier League done deal is Scott Sinclair's loan switch from Manchester City until the end of the season.

    The former Chelsea and Swansea City player, 25, has become one of football's forgotten men.

    "I believe I have my best years ahead of me," Sinclair said.

    There haven't been a great deal of transfers completed today but here is one.

    Swansea City signed midfielder Jack Cork, 25, from Southampton for an undisclosed fee.

    The two teams play each other on Sunday but the deal was completed after Friday's 12:00 GMT registration deadline. So he won't be involved.

    I'm sure the timing wasn't accidental by the Saints.

    According to the latest reports in Spanish newspaper AS,, external Manchester United have kept €150 million in reserve to sign Real Madrid's Gareth Bale in the summer.

    The Welsh international only joined Los Blancos 18 months ago and his future has been the subject of much speculation in recent months.

    What a signing that would be...

    Hughes's appointment on a three-year deal in 2013 wasn't the most popular move in the Potteries - as shown by the picture above - but he has surely won most around now?

    "The owners have intimated they would like to sit down and discuss a new contract. The length and terms will be discussed in due course I would imagine. But I'm delighted they want to do it," he said.

    Veteran striker Lee Hughes rejoins Kidderminster Harriers, more than 17 years after he left the club.

    The 38-year-old started his career with the Harriers, scoring 70 goals in 139 games, before joining West Bromwich Albion in 1997.

    Hughes has returned to Aggborough after Conference rivals Forest Green Rovers terminated his contract with them by mutual consent.
