All of the additions are capped players. Scrum-half Chris Cusiter (Sale) and Adam Ashe (Glasgow), recover from knee and neck injuries respectively for a recall. David Denton (Edinburgh) is also fit again after sustaining a calf tear before the tournament.

Props Moray Low (Exeter) and Alex Allan (Glasgow) are direct replacements for Jon Welsh (hand) and Gordon Reid (knee), who were injured in the previous match against Wales.

    Noel Gallagher

One man less than impressed with Jose Mourinho's comments is singer Noel Gallagher.

The former Oasis lead guitarist, a Manchester City supporter, was a guest on BBC's MOTD3 over the weekend and called the Chelsea boss 'a whinger'.

  6. Arsenal underachieving, says Mourinhopublished at 09:03 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2015

"I don't understand why they are not up there with Chelsea and Manchester City," said Mourinho.

"Arsenal are a team I like very much. They have very good players and Alexis Sanchez is a very important player to add to what they have got. They are a team for more.

"Arsene Wenger has a dream job. Everyone would love to have the security he has of being manager year after year after year."

    The IndependentImage source, Independent

Here are some of Monday's back pages starting with The Independent, which focuses on Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho's appearance on Sky Sports' Goals on Sunday.

The Portuguese was outspoken in his 37 minutes on air accusing referee Martin Atkinson of making "four mistakes" in the 1-1 draw with Burnley on Saturday, also criticising Ashley Barnes for his "criminal challenge" on Nemana Matic that led to the Chelsea player being sent off for retaliating.

  8. 'It could have ended Matic's career'published at 08:57 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2015

One of the main talking points from Saturday's games was Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic's red card after he reacted to an awful challenge from Burnley's Ashley Barnes during the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

In an incredible interview on Sky Sports, Mourinho said: "It could be the end of Matic's career. A criminal tackle. Matic is a very lucky guy," Mourinho said. "Another club would have the power to appeal Matic's red card.

"Football is about emotions and clearly Nemanja Matic had a reason to lose his emotions. What are the consequences of his push? Nothing. The consequence for Matic from the tackle? It could be the end of his career.

"If you call Diego Costa's actions against Liverpool a crime, the minimum you have to say is this is a criminal tackle."

Accompanying the image, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers criticises Southampton fans for a lack of respect to former Saints stars Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert.

Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany also gets a mention after insisting that the Premier League champions do not fear Barcelona in Tuesday's Champions League last-16 match at the Etihad and claiming playing Stoke can be tougher.

  11. 'England will feel they are in with a chance'published at 08:38 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2015

    Geoffrey Boycott
    BBC Test Match Special

"England will wake up tomorrow relieved. They have played below par, but now they will feel they are in with a chance. All they have to do is win a couple more matches and get through to the quarter-finals.

"I think they have a good chance of beating Sri Lanka as I don't think they are the force they used to be. Scotland need to improve their bowling. They can't bowl at medium pace like that. It is not good enough at this level."

Twice in the morning recently Sportsday has brought you miserable news of a heavy England defeat at the Cricket World Cup.

  13. Mane dropped for being late - Koemanpublished at 08:30 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2015

An interesting line from the post-match quotes as Southampton manager Ronald Koeman revealed that Saints midfielder Sadio Mane was dropped from the starting line-up against Liverpool for turning up late.

The Senegal international appeared as a second-half substitute as Liverpool won the Premier League match 2-0.

On-loan Benfica midfielder Filip Djuricic made his first Southampton start in place of Mane, 22.

"He was supposed to play from the beginning. We have rules we have to respect," Koeman told BBC Radio Solent. "I had a problem because Sadio was too late at the stadium."

  14. Liverpool close in on Champions Leaguepublished at 08:26 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2015

Liverpool moved to within two points of a Champions League place by scoring with their first two shots on target in a 2-0 win at fifth-placed Southampton.

Philippe Coutinho scored with a 25-yard curler in the third minute. Southampton had two early penalty appeals turned down, as challenges on Filip Djuricic by Emre Can and Joe Allen went unpunished.

Raheem Sterling also had a penalty claim rejected, but made it 2-0 when Matt Targett failed to clear a cross.

  15. Disaster for Upsonpublished at 08:24 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2015

There was also late drama at Goodison Park as Matthew Upson's 88th-minute own goal denied Premier League bottom club Leicester victory as their game at Everton ended 2-2.

Steven Naismith's opener gave manager Roberto Martinez hope of a first home league win since December. Sloppy defending allowed boyhood Everton fan David Nugent to equalise for Leicester, before Esteban Cambiasso put the visitors in front.

But Upson turned Christian Atsu's cross into his own net with two minutes left.

  16. Allardyce unhappy at 'NFL' timekeepingpublished at 08:16 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2015

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce said the final whistle should have gone before Tottenham striker Harry Kane could convert the penalty rebound that earned Spurs a 2-2 draw with the last kick of the game.

Asked if the whistle should have gone immediately after goalkeeper Adrian's initial penalty save, Allardyce said: "The answer is yes. But he [referee Jon Moss] wouldn't be brave enough to do that at home would he? So we're doing NFL now aren't we. I'd like a timekeeper to be honest."

"He [the referee] will say there was still two seconds to go," the Hammers boss said. "He will say when the penalty was taken, there were five seconds left, when the rebound came off there were three second left."

In American football's NFL, the clock stops when the ball goes out of play, meaning a 60-minute game lasts much longer and the game can also run on after the final whistle until the ball is dead.

  17. Kane saves Tottenhampublished at 08:10 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2015

Harry Kane won a penalty and scored with the last kick of the game to earn Tottenham a draw against West Ham.

Kane's 96th-minute penalty was saved but he reacted quickest to give Spurs an unlikely point at White Hart Lane. West Ham had led 2-0 through goals from Diafra Sakho and Cheikhou Kouyate with just nine minutes left to play.

Danny Rose's mis-hit long-range shot set up the comeback before Kane, who was felled by Alex Song, pounced to score his 24th goal of the season.
