Here are some more of Andy's thoughts on Chicharito...

"Hernandez can revel in his current heroic status for now, but the brutal truth is that when Real are back in Champions League action on 5 or 6 May, the only way he will be on the pitch is if Benzema's injury takes longer to heal than expected."

"Leroy Fer is in contention. He's not 100% but we might take a chance on him. We don't want a reoccurring injury though. We're hoping at the very least he will be on the bench for us this weekend. He's a big player for us."

"The focus has to be that we have to try and finish the season on a high. The bad run has come at the back end of the season and you don't want to end the season with that."

Chris Ramsey's position at QPR remains uncertain, while the speculation about Sam Allardyce leaving West Ham refuses to go away. However, the former has given his full backing to the latter ahead of this weekend's game...

"I haven't paid much attention to the speculation around Sam's job," said Ramsey. "Whether it's true or false I don't know. I don't see why there would be speculation about his job - he's done a very good job at Upton Park."

"But Sam will prepare his team as he always does. The speculation about his future will have no impact on the game."

  18. Chris Ramsey press conferencepublished at 10:02 British Summer Time 23 April 2015
