    Wakefield Trinity Wildcats coach James Webster has suggested his time at the club could be coming to an end after their Challenge Cup defeat by Leigh.

    The Wildcats, bottom of Super League with only one win from 13 in all competitions, were 24-6 up at half-time against the Championship leaders but capitulated in the second period to lose 36-30.

    When asked if he was concerned about his future he told BBC Radio Leeds: "You go into coaching knowing you will get sacked at some point. I'll go home and think about it."

    Experienced trio Pamela Cookey, Tamsin Greenway and Sonia Mkoloma are included in the 20-strong list.

    Natalie Haythornthwaite also makes the cut after making her international debut in the 3-0 tri-series win against Trinidad and Tobago earlier this month.

    The World Cup takes place in August and Neville will name her final squad of 12 in June.

    Scotland manager Gordon Strachan would not be drawn on the ethics of playing Qatar in a friendly amid controversy surrounding the treatment of workers on the country's World Cup 2022 infrastructure.

    Strachan said he was appreciative that Qatar were playing the Scots and allowing them to prepare for the crucial Euro 2016 qualifier against the Republic of Ireland eight days later.

    "This is not the time for me to talk about politics. There are other people more qualified and with more information to talk about politics, but mine is football," he said.

    Except there has been a slight change of plan.

    Japan's sports minister has revealed the design of the stadium has been scaled back as the government runs short of money and time.

    According to reports in the Japanese media. under the latest plans a planned retractable roof won't be built in time for the 2020 Games, and some of the 80,000 seats would be temporary ones.

    Plans for the new stadium had been criticised by some prominent architects, who said the design was too big and expensive. It is due to be completed in 2019.

    Grimsby striker Jon-Paul Pittman has apologised to the club's fans after his penalty shootout miss in the Conference play-off final loss to Bristol Rovers.

    Pittman blazed his spot-kick over the bar to leave Lee Mansell to convert from 12 yards and send the Pirates back to the Football League.

    "I want to say a big apology to all the fans. Hopefully I can rectify it," he told BBC Radio Humberside. "I want the ground to swallow me up and disappear but you can't do that."
