The 32 teams in the draw will be put into eight groups of four.

In a change to previous seasons, pot one will be made up of holders Barcelona and league winners of the top seven European leagues - Spain, England, Germany, Italy, Portugal, France and Russia - rather than being based on club co-efficients.

As Spanish side Barcelona won last season's competition, Dutch champions PSV go into the top pot as Netherlands are the eighth-ranked association.

A team from each of the four pots will be drawn into the eight groups, with no more than one team from any one country in each group.

The Republic of Ireland international, who scored to help Stoke progress in the League Cup this week, believes the new deal doesn't reflect his contribution after five years at the football club.

"In my eyes if they valued me it would be there but it’s not... talk's cheap when it comes to things like these."

Kyle Edmund and Johanna Konta continue their bid to qualify for the US Open later on Thursday afternoon.

Both players are now ranked inside the world's top 100. Edmund plays Guido Andreozzi, while Konta - who has won eleven matches in a row since Wimbledon - takes on Naomi Osaka.

Also in action are Brydan Klein and Naomi Broady.

England opener Adam Lyth is playing for Yorkshire in their One-Day Cup quarter-final against Essex at Chelmsford, but he has just been bowled for 36 from 40 balls and his team are 76-2 after 16 overs having been asked to bat first. Another England man, Jonny Bairstow, is at the crease on five.

Australia were ticking along at five-and-a-half an over having opted to bat first but rain has returned in the one-off one-day international with Ireland in Belfast. Joe Burns hit 69 in an opening stand of 139 inside 22 overs with David Warner, who hit seven fours and three sixes in his 84 from 80 balls. 

The match, reduced to 47 over per side because of earlier rain at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Stormont, has been halted by the weather again with the Aussies on 173-4 in the 32nd over.

Fifty-seven Manchester United fans were arrested in Bruges on Wednesday night after their Champions League win over Club Brugge.

Chief Constable of Bruges Police Dirk van Nuffel said glasses and chairs were thrown in a clash outside a bar in the city centre after the 4-0 win, which put United into the ChampionsLeague group stages.

He said 32 travelling fans and six Belgians were arrested near the bar while 25 more United fans were arrested near the stadium for not having a ticket.

On reports that Erik Lamela could be on his way to Inter Milan,, external Pochettino poured water on the connection, saying: "Is he in talks with Inter Milan? I don't know. Erik said nothing to me. Today he was in training and happy. Lamela said nothing to me and it is only a rumour we see in the media."

Mauricio Pochettino has addressed speculation about his striking options, following links to West Brom's Saido Berahino.

He said: "It is obvious we need one striker more, maybe one player more, and we are working hard."

He also dismissed reports that Bayer Leverkusen forward Son Heung-min had undergone a medical as "another rumour" and backed a goalless Harry Kane to come good.

"I am not concerned or worried about him," Pochettino said. "He is a top scorer and maybe the next game will have the possibility to score."

Aston Villamidfielder Aleksandar Tonevhas signed for Italian side Frosinone Calcio for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old Bulgarian spent last season on loan at Celtic where he made 14 appearances.
