    Geoff Doyle
    BBC Three Counties Radio sport

We'll have quotes from the Watford news conference at around 13:00 BST once they are released. For now, our man Geoff Doyle at BBC Three Counties Radio has this:

"Watford coach Quique Flores was looking more stressed than he has done at his other pre-match press conferences this morning.

"It's probably because he has major decisions to make on his final squad announcement next week.

"He can only pick 17 overseas players and he already has more than that and is likely to bring in more. It may also be because his side face in-form Manchester City on Saturday."

Manchester CitytargetKevin De Bruyneis "still a Wolfsburg player", according to director of sport Klaus Allofs.

"We are not in any rush to get this [transfer] through. The interests of both sides must be considered. If our expectations are not fulfilled, Kevin will be playing for Wolfsburg this season, and I wouldn't mind that.

"In the end, there can only be winners from this deal and that applies also to Wolfsburg. If that is not the case, then there will be no transfer."

Some reports have credited Leicester City with an interest in Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray.

Several top flight clubs were represented at the game against Derby – by some distance Gray’s best performance of this fledgling season.

Birmingham City have not confirmed that there is a buy-out clause in his newly-signed three-year contract, but an initial fee reported to be around £4.7m would be about right for a 19-year old with only one full season of Championship football under his belt.

Tottenham continue their talks with Bayer Leverkusen over the signing of Korean forward Son Heung-Min but that is independent to their pursuit of West Brom striker Saido Berahino.

Tottenham officials are letting it be known that they are considering cooling their interest in the England Under-21 international. But I understand that is likely to be a tactic aimed at scaring West Brom into agreeing a deal.

Chairman Jeremy Peace has so far rejected two offers from Spurs as he holds out for as much as possible, the consensus being that £25m would do the job.

West Brom expect Berahino to leave and manager Tony Pulis wants the proceeds as soon as possible to reinvest in a number of new signings.
