Is being manager of non-league New Mills the hardest job in football?, external

We're not even sure Sir Alex Ferguson could cope at the Derbyshire club after they appointed their fourth manager in three months.

The latest to go was Andy Fearn, who resigned as manager after a 7-1 home defeat to Prescot Cables that left his side bottom of the table, having lost all eight matches this season and conceding 30 goals.

New Mills had got through two managers before the season had started with Roy Soule leaving in June and his replacement Keith Briggs also departing to to take up a coaching job at Sheffield United.

Maybe Brown could read BBC Sports' Ben Dirs' piece on the trials of being a football manager.
