A little more on the news that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been charged with misconduct by the FA for comments made after the Southampton match.
A statement reads: "It is alleged his remarks constitute improper conduct in that they allege and/or imply bias on the part of a match official or match officials and/or bring the game into disrepute."
Mourinho has until 18:00 BST on Thursday to respond.
Football
Rodgers has departed with plenty of praise for both the club and its supporters, saying: "Liverpool has a magnificent football heritage and I have nothing but respect and admiration for history, tradition and values that make the city and the club so exceptional."
League Managers Association chief executive Richard Bevan also describes Rodgers as "one of the most forward-thinking British managers in the game", adding that "it won't be too long before he finds a new challenge".

Brendan Rodgershas released a statement following his sacking from Liverpool on Sunday, saying he is "incredibly disappointed" to be leaving Anfield.
He says: "It has been both an honour and a privilege to manage one of the game's great clubs for the past three years.
"I have worked every day to represent the club to the best of my ability, to develop both individual players and a team that the club's magnificent fans can be proud of."
He also describes the squad as still being in "transition" and extends his thanks to the club's owners, Fenway Sports Group, the fans and backroom staff.

Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has said Jurgen Klopp would be the ideal man to succeed the sacked Brendan Rodgers.
Owen told Sports Lobster: , external"Klopp would certainly excite the Liverpool fans who have become so disillusioned with Rodgers and in this day and age their part in the whole process cannot be overestimated.
"He would also bring a burning desire to succeed and to take the club from their true position of 'top six' to right back in the mix for winning the title and where finishing top four is a given every season.”

Canada's Eugenie Bouchard has retired from her opening match against Andrea Petkovic, external at the China Open because of dizziness.
Bouchard suffered concussion after slipping in the locker room after her third-round win in the US Open last month and was forced to withdraw from the tournament, as well as subsequent events in Tokyo and Wuhan.
The Canadian was trailing 6-2 1-1 against Petkovic on Monday when she decided to quit.

A record national audience of 25 million, external tuned in to watch Japan's victory over Samoa in the Rugby World Cup on Sunday.
It beats the previous record of 20.7 million held by France when national broadcaster TF1 televised the first semi-final of Rugby World Cup 2007 between France and England in Paris.
Pepe Reina had a tricky relationship with sacked Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers and was first loaned out to Napoli before joining Bayern Munich.

Welsh preparations for their Rugby World Cup clash with Australia at Twickenham took a spooky twist on Monday with ghostly tales and talk of former King of England Henry VIII.
Wales are staying at the Oatlands Hotel in Weybridge, originally the site of a grand royal palace which Henry, the second monarch in the Welsh Tudor dynasty, built for his fourth queen, Anne of Cleves, in the 16th Century.
"A few boys think they've seen a ghost but I'm not sure they actually have. I think it's best to stay away from room 1313. Some of them reckon they have seen Henry VIII," prop Samson Lee said on Monday.

Wales full-back Liam Williams is set to return from concussion to face Australia in their World Cup Pool A decider on Saturday.
Williams missed Wales' win against Fiji after suffering a blow to the head during their victory against England.
Flanker Dan Lydiate and lock Bradley Davies who were both taken off against Fiji on Thursday are both in line to play while Paul James will return to full training on Tuesday after a calf strain.
The team is set to be announced on Thursday.

Scotland flanker Blair Cowan says his side must make a fast start in next Saturday's World Cup match against Samoa.
Vern Cotter's men have been sluggish in the early exchanges of Pool B games against Japan, the United States and South Africa, before rallying.
"In the opening 20 minutes they will come out firing and we have got to be on a par with them," said Cowan."They are fierce warriors. We are very aware of their strengths."

There's no point in any of us emailing Serena Williams this week because the world's top female tennis player probably has her out of office on.
Williams, who will not play for the rest of this year, posted a picture on her Instagram, external account relaxing with friends in Texas.

Surrey all-rounder Zafar Ansari has agreed a new three-year contract with the county.
The 23-year-old was selected for England's current tour to the UAE, but later ruled out of the trip after dislocating a thumb while fielding in a County Championship match.
"I feel that at the moment, Surrey is a good side that is getting better," he told the club website.
