England face tough testpublished at 18:07

    Spain v England (19:45 GMT)

It has been 15 games and 17 months since England last tasted defeat, when they failed to qualify from their group at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The unbeaten run has included a perfect qualifying campaign of 10 wins from 10 games for Euro 2016 which starts in June.

That run will be put to the test on Friday when they visit Spain, who have won the past two European Championships.

Spain lost just once in qualifying - to Slovakia more than a year ago - but they have also been beaten by France, Germany and the Netherlands in friendly matches since also being knocked out of the 2014 World Cup in the group stages.

Having qualified for Euro 2016, Wales are stepping up their preparations for a first appearance at a major tournament since the 1958 World Cup.

Netherlands, meanwhile, are having to rebuild after failing to qualify for next summer's competition in France.

"We're playing a top-level game of football, so we're going to go into it and perform like we have done for a considerable amount of time."

Republic should not be scared - Kilbanepublished at 17:41

    Bosnia v Rep Ireland (19:45)

The Republic of Ireland's Euro 2016 play-off with Bosnia-Herzegovina will be tight and tense but they have nothing to fear, says Match of the Day pundit Kevin Kilbane.

"O'Neill has had the core of his team decimated by injuries and suspensions but a draw or even a narrow defeat on Friday would keep the tie alive for Monday's second leg in Dublin, when he will hopefully have some key players back," says Kilbane in his column.

We will give our maximum - Azpilicuetapublished at 17:33

Football (Spain v England 19:45 BST)

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta says Spain's players are motivated to do their best against England to earn a place in the Euro 2016 squad.

He said: "What is sure is that we all want to be on the list for the Euros in France and we are all giving our maximum. Although we still have time before the event we are all looking forward to it.

"England is a team with much variety, with young players. They are in a good phase of winning all their matches and have hugely strengthened players. This makes them a strong team who are doing good things, which suggests a big game."

Trust in sport fading - Murraypublished at 17:25

    Tennis

British number one Andy Murray has said tennis should invest more money in anti-doping and believes trust in sport is "fading".

"As a sport we could invest more money," said the Briton ahead of Sunday's ATP World Tour Finals. "Prize money is so high there's no reason for us not to have as perfect as possible a process.

"I do think that the more money that's invested gives you a better chance of catching the cheats and also gaining the trust of the public, which I think across sport in general is fading.

"It seems like every week something new is coming out across a variety of sports. I'm just hoping tennis can remain as clean as possible.

"This year I've been tested more than ever before, but to be honest it's getting to the stage where that doesn't even matter. Lance Armstrong was the most tested athlete on the planet... it doesn't necessarily guarantee anything."
