    You can register to vote now for Sports Personality of the Year. The actual voting itself only opens during the live programme on 20 December.

    You can only vote once, but registering now will mean you can also vote for the Overseas Sports Personality of the Year award which is currently open.

    Jamie Vardy's story has already made a few back pages - now could it be coming to a big screen near you?

    Adrian Butchart, the British-born screenwriter behind the first two films of the Goal! trilogy, has told Radio 5 live that he wants to get Vardy's rise from non-league player to record breaking Premier League star turned into a movie.

    "People love an underdog story, people like to see somebody fighting against the odds and doing well, and that was really the phenomenal thing about Jamie's story," he explained.

    Newcastle have recalled centre-back Mike Williamson from a loan spell at Wolves after Jamaal Lascelles suffered a hamstring injury.

    32-year-old Williamson has been out of favour this season following the arrivals of Lascelles and Chancel Mbemba - but in his absence, the Magpies have conceded the joint most goals in the top flight.
